ଆଦି ପୁସ୍ତକ 2:7
ଏହାପରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଭୂମିରୁ ଧୂଳି ନଇେ ମନୁଷ୍ଯ ସୃଷ୍ଟି କଲେ। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତା'ର ନାସିକା ରନ୍ଧ୍ର ରେ ଫୁଙ୍କ ଦଇେ ପ୍ରାଣ ବାୟୁ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରାଇଲେ। ତହିଁରେ ମନୁଷ୍ଯ ଜୀବିତପ୍ରାଣୀ ହେଲା।

| into his nostrils | בְּאַפָּ֖יו | bĕʾappāyw | beh-ah-PAV |
| the breath | נִשְׁמַ֣ת | nišmat | neesh-MAHT |
| life; of | חַיִּ֑ים | ḥayyîm | ha-YEEM |
| and man | וַֽיְהִ֥י | wayhî | va-HEE |
| became | הָֽאָדָ֖ם | hāʾādām | ha-ah-DAHM |
| a living | לְנֶ֥פֶשׁ | lĕnepeš | leh-NEH-fesh |
