ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲୀୟ ଲୋକମାନେ ବିଜଯୀ ଭାବରେ ବାସ କରୁଥିଲେ। କିନ୍ତୁ ଯେ ହତେୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଫାରୋଙ୍କୁ ଜିଦ୍ଖୋର କଲେ, ସେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ପେଛ ପେଛ ଗୋଡ଼ାଇଲେ।

ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଆମ୍ଭ ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷମାନଙ୍କୁ ବାଛି ନେଲେ। ମିଶର ରେ ବିଦେଶୀ ଭାବେ ସମାନେେ ରହୁଥିବା ବେଳେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଆମ୍ଭ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ସଫଳତା ଦେଲେ। ସେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ମହାନ୍ ଶକ୍ତି ବଳ ରେ ସଠାରୁେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ବାହାର ମଧ୍ଯ କରି ଆଣିଲେ।

ପ୍ରଥମ ମାସର ପଞ୍ଚଦଶ ଦିନ ରେ, ସମାନେେ ରାମିଷଷଠାରୁେ ୟାତ୍ରା କଲେ। ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ଲୋକମାନେ ମିଶରବାସୀଙ୍କ ଆଗ ରେ ଦାମ୍ଭିକତାର ସହକା ରେ ବାହାରି ଗଲେ। ଏହା ନିସ୍ତାର ପର୍ବର ପରବର୍ତ୍ତି ଦିନ ଥିଲା।

କିନ୍ତୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଜାଣକ୍ସ୍ଟ ତାଙ୍କର ଶତୃମାନେ କ'ଣ କହିବେ। ଶତୃମାନେ ବକ୍ସ୍ଟଝି ପାରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ନଥିବେ। ସମାନେେ ଏପରି କହି ପାରନ୍ତି, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଧ୍ବଂସ କରି ନାହାଁନ୍ତି। ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଶକ୍ତି ବଳ ରେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଜିତିଛକ୍ସ୍ଟ।'

ତା'ପରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ବଳବାନ ହସ୍ତଦ୍ବାରା ଓ ବିସ୍ତୀର୍ଣ ବାହକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ବାରା ଓ ମହାତ୍ରାସଦ୍ବାରା ଓ ନାନା ଚିହ୍ନ ଦ୍ବାରା, ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ୟ୍ଯ କର୍ମମାନଦ୍ବାରା ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ମିଶରରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ବାହାର କରି ଆଣିଲେ।

ମୁଁ ଫାରୋଙ୍କୁ ପୁଣି ଜିଦ୍ଖୋର କରିବି ଏବଂ ଯେପରି ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଗୋଡ଼ାଇବେ। କିନ୍ତୁ ମୁଁ ଫାରୋ ଏବଂ ତାଙ୍କର ସୈନ୍ଯମାନଙ୍କୁ ପରାସ୍ତ କରିବି। ଏହା ମାରେ ସମ୍ମାନ ବଢାଇବ। ତାହାହେଲେ ମିଶର ଲୋକମାନେ ଜାଣିବେ ଯେ ମୁଁ ହେଉଛି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ। ସମାନେେ ତାଙ୍କ ଆଜ୍ଞା ଅନୁସାରେ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କଲେ।

ଏହା ଚିହ୍ନ ସ୍ବରୂପେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ହସ୍ତ ରେ ଓ ଭୂଷଣ ସ୍ବରୂପେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଚକ୍ଷୁ ଦ୍ବଯର ମଧ୍ଯସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ରହିବ। ଯେ ହତେୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ବାହୁବଳ ରେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ମିଶରରୁ ବାହାର କରି ଆଣିଲେ।

ଏହି ପବିତ୍ର ଦିନଟିକୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ମନେ ରଖିବ। ଏହା ଯେପରି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ବ୍ଯବସ୍ଥା ଯେପରି ତୁମ୍ଭ ମୁଖ ରେ ରହିବ, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ଏହା ଚିହ୍ନ ସ୍ବରୂପ ତୁମ୍ଭ ହସ୍ତ ରେ ଓ ସ୍ମରଣର ଉପାଯ ସ୍ବରୂପ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଚକ୍ଷୁ ଦ୍ବଯର ମଧ୍ଯସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ରହିବ। ଯେ ହତେୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ପରାକ୍ରାନ୍ତ ହସ୍ତଦ୍ବାରା ମିଶରଠାରୁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ବାହାର କରି ଆଣିଛନ୍ତି।

ଏହାପରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମାଶାଙ୍କେୁ କହିଲେ, ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଦେଖିବ ମୁଁ ଫାରୋଙ୍କୁ କ'ଣ କରିବି। ମାରେ ମହାନ ଶକ୍ତି ତାଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରିବ ଏବଂ ସେ ମାରେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ୟିବାକୁ ଦବେ। ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ସେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ବାଧ୍ଯ କରିବ ତାଙ୍କର ଦେଶ ଛାଡ଼ି ୟିବା ପାଇଁ?

ମାେ ପ୍ରତି ତୁମ୍ଭର ଦୟା ମହତ୍ ଅଟେ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାେ ଜୀବନକୁ ଶଷୋବସ୍ଥା ମୃତ୍ଯୁ ମୁଖରୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରିଛ।

ତେଣୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଅନ୍ୟ ଏକ ପଥରେ ଆଗଇେ ନେଲେ। ସେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ସୂପ ସମୁଦ୍ର ପ୍ରାନ୍ତର ମଧ୍ଯ ଦଇେ ଆଣିଲେ। ସମାନେେ ମିଶର ଛାଡିବା ସମୟରେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲୀୟମାନେ ୟୁଦ୍ଧ ପାଇଁ ପୋଷାକ ପରିଧାନ କରିଥିଲେ।
