ଆଉ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ମିଶର ଦେଶ ରେ ବନ୍ଧା ଦାସ ଥିଲ, ଏହା ସର୍ବଦା ସ୍ମରଣ କରିବ। ଏଣୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଏହି କର୍ମ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଆଜ୍ଞା ଦଇେଅଛୁ।

କିନ୍ତୁ ସଲ୍ଗମ ଦିନଟି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତକ୍ସ୍ଟମ୍ଭ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କର ବିଶ୍ରାମ ଦିନ ଅଟେ, ତହିଁରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ କି ତୁମ୍ଭର ପକ୍ସ୍ଟତ୍ର କି ତୁମ୍ଭର କନ୍ଯା କି ତୁମ୍ଭର ଦାସ, କି ତୁମ୍ଭର ଦାସୀ, କି ତୁମ୍ଭର ଗୋରୁ, କି ତୁମ୍ଭର ଗଧ କି ତୁମ୍ଭର କୌଣସି ପଶକ୍ସ୍ଟ, କି ତୁମ୍ଭର ନଗର ଦ୍ବାରାବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ବିଦେଶୀ, କହେି କୌଣସି କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରିବେ ନାହିଁ। ତହିଁରେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଦାସ ଓ ଦାସୀ ତକ୍ସ୍ଟମ୍ଭପରି ବିଶ୍ରାମ କରିବେ।

କିନ୍ତୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ସ୍ନହେ କରିବାରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ସେ ଯେଉଁ ଶପଥ କରିଥିଲେ, ତାହା ପ୍ରତିପାଳନ କରିବାକୁ ଇଛକ୍ସ୍ଟକ ହବୋରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ବଳବାନ୍ ହସ୍ତଦ୍ବାରା ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ବାହାର କରି ଆଣିଲେ। ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦାସତ୍ବରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଓ ମିଶରର ରାଜା ଫାରୋଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ରକ୍ଷା କଲେ।
ଯିଶାଇୟ 51:1
ହେ ଧର୍ମାଚାରୀଗଣ, ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଅନ୍ବଷେଣକାରୀଗଣ। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଆମ୍ଭର କଥା ଶୁଣ ; ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଯେଉଁ ଶୈଳରୁ କଟା ହାଇେଥିଲ ଓ ଯେଉଁ ଗର୍ତ୍ତରୁ ଚ୍ଛଦରେୁ ଖୋଳା ହାଇେଥିଲା, ତାହା ପ୍ରତି ଦୃଷ୍ଟିପାତ କର।

ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦାନ ଦବୋପାଇଁ ଆଦେଶ ଦେଉ ନାହିଁ। କିନ୍ତୁ ମୁଁ ଦେଖିବାକୁ ଇଚ୍ଛା କରେ ଯେ, ପ୍ରକୃତ ରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ ରମେ ସତ୍ଯ ଅଟେ। ଅନ୍ୟ ଲୋକମାନେ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଦଖାେଉଥିବା ଉତ୍ସାହ ବିଷୟ ରେ କହି ଏହା ମୁଁ ଦଖାଇେ ଦବୋକୁ ଚା ହେଁ।

ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ପ୍ରିୟ ସନ୍ତାନ। ଅତଏବ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଭଳି ହବୋକୁ ଚେଷ୍ଟା କର।
