ଆମୋଷ 1:8
ଆଉ ମଧ୍ଯ ଅସ୍ଦୋଦର ସିଂହାସନ ରେ ବସିଥିବା ଲୋକଟିକୁ ଧ୍ବଂସ କରିବା। ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆସ୍କିଲୋନର ରାଜଦଣ୍ତଧାରୀକୁ ମଧ୍ଯ ବିନାଶ କରିବା। ଇକ୍ରୋଣ୍ର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ମଧ୍ଯ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଦଣ୍ତ ଦବୋ। ତା'ପ ରେ ଯେଉଁ ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟମାନେ ବଞ୍ଚିଥିବେ, ସମାନେେ ମଧ୍ଯ ମୃତ୍ଯୁବରଣ କରିବେ। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଏହିସବୁ କହିଥିଲେ।

அவர்கள் யோர்தானிலிருந்து எடுத்துக் கொண்டுவந்த அந்தப் பன்னிரண்டு கற்களையும் யோசுவா கில்காலிலே நாட்டி,
And those twelve stones, which they took out of Jordan, did Joshua pitch in Gilgal.

And those	וְאֵת֩	wĕʾēt	veh-ATE
twelve	שְׁתֵּ֨ים	šĕttêm	sheh-TAME
	עֶשְׂרֵ֤ה	ʿeśrē	es-RAY
stones,	הָֽאֲבָנִים֙	hāʾăbānîm	ha-uh-va-NEEM
which	הָאֵ֔לֶּה	hāʾēlle	ha-A-leh
out took they	אֲשֶׁ֥ר	ʾăšer	uh-SHER

Jordan,	מִן	min	meen

inhabitant the	יוֹשֵׁב֙	yôšēb	yoh-SHAVE
from Ashdod,	מֵֽאַשְׁדּ֔וֹד	mēʾašdôd	may-ash-DODE
holdeth that him and	וְתוֹמֵ֥ךְ	wĕtômēk	veh-toh-MAKE
the sceptre	שֵׁ֖בֶט	šēbeṭ	SHAY-vet
from Ashkelon,	מֵֽאַשְׁקְל֑וֹן	mēʾašqĕlôn	may-ash-keh-LONE
turn will I and	וַהֲשִׁיב֨וֹתִי	wahăšîbôtî	va-huh-shee-VOH-tee
mine hand	יָדִ֜י	yādî	ya-DEE
against	עַל	ʿal	al
Ekron:	עֶקְר֗וֹן	ʿeqrôn	ek-RONE
and the remnant	וְאָֽבְדוּ֙	wĕʾābĕdû	veh-ah-veh-DOO
Philistines the of	שְׁאֵרִ֣ית	šĕʾērît	sheh-ay-REET
shall perish,	פְּלִשְׁתִּ֔ים	pĕlištîm	peh-leesh-TEEM
saith	אָמַ֖ר	ʾāmar	ah-MAHR
the Lord	אֲדֹנָ֥י	ʾădōnāy	uh-doh-NAI
God.	יְהוִֽה׃	yĕhwi	yeh-VEE
