ସଠାେରେ ୟୁଲିଅ ଆଲକଜୋଣ୍ଡ୍ରିଆର ଜାହାଜଟିଏ ଇତାଲିଆକୁ ଯାଉଥିବାର ପାଇଲୋ ସେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ସେଥି ରେ ଚ଼ଢାଇ ଦେଲେ।

ଆପଲ୍ଲ ନାମକ ଜଣେ ଯିହୂଦୀୟ ସଠାେରେ ଥିଲେ। ତାହାଙ୍କର ଜନ୍ମସ୍ଥାନ ଆଲେକ୍ଜାଣ୍ଡ୍ରିଯା। ସେ ଏଫିସ ନଗରକୁ ଆସିଲେ ସେ ଜଣେ ଅତି ଭଲ ବକ୍ତାଥିଲେ। ଧର୍ମଶାସ୍ତ୍ର ରେ ତାହାଙ୍କର ବହୁତ ଭଲ ଜ୍ଞାନ ଥିଲା।

ଇତାଲିଆକୁ ଜାହାଜା ରେ ଯାତ୍ରା କରିବା ପାଇଁ ସ୍ଥିର ହବୋରୁ ପାଉଲ ଓ ଅନ୍ୟ ବନ୍ଦୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦାଯିତ୍ବ ୟୂଲିଅ ନାମକ ଶତ ସନୋପତିଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତ ରେ ଅର୍ପଣ କରାଗଲା। ସହେି ୟୂଲିଅ ସମ୍ରାଟଙ୍କର ସନୋବାହିନୀ ରେ ଚ଼ାକିରୀ କରୁଥିଲେ। ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଆଦ୍ରାମୁତ୍ତୀୟରୁ ଗୋଟିଏ ଜାହାଜ ରେ ଉଠିଲୁ।
