ସେ ସଙ୍ଗେ ସଙ୍ଗେ କେତକେ ସୈନ୍ଯ ଓ ଅଧିକାରୀମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଆସି ପହନ୍ଚିଲେ। ସେ ପାଉଲଙ୍କୁ ହତ୍ଯା କରିବାକୁ ଉଦ୍ଯମ ହେଉଥିବା ଯିହୂଦୀମାନଙ୍କ ପାଖକୁ ଗଲେ। ସମାନେେ ସନୋପତି ଓ ସୈନ୍ଯସାମନ୍ତଙ୍କୁ ଦେଖି ପାଉଲଙ୍କୁ ମାଡ଼ ମାରିବା ବନ୍ଦ କଲେ।
