ପାଉଲ ଓ ଶୀଲାଙ୍କୁ ଭାଇମାନେ ସହେି ରାତି ରେ ସାଙ୍ଗେ ସାଙ୍ଗେ ବରଯୋ ନଗରକୁ ପଠାଇ ଦେଲେ। ସମାନେେ ସଠାେରେ ପହଞ୍ଚି ଯିହୂଦୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ସମାଜଗୃହକୁ ଗଲେ।

ପାଉଲ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ପାଖକୁ ଗଲେ। ଏପରି ସେ ସର୍ବଦା କରୁଥିଲେ। ସେ ତିନି ବିଶ୍ରାମବାର ଦିନ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ସହିତ ଶାସ୍ତ୍ର ଆଲୋଚନା କଲେ।

ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପାଖକୁ ୟିବା ପୂର୍ବରୁ ଫିଲିପ୍ପୀଠା ରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଦୁଃଖ ଓ ଅପମାନ ପାଇଥିଲୁ। ଏହି ବିଷୟ ରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଜାଣିଛ। ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଯେତବେେଳେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପାଖକୁ ଗଲୁ, ସେତବେେଳେ ଅନକେ ଲୋକ ଆମ୍ଭର ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ଥିଲେ। କିନ୍ତୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ସାହାୟ୍ଯରୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ସାହସୀ ହାଇେ ପାରିଲୁ। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ତାହାଙ୍କର ସୁସମାଚାର କହିବା ପାଇଁ ସେ ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ କଲେ।

ଯୋନାଥନ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ କହିଲେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଶାନ୍ତି ରେ ୟାଅ। ଆମ୍ଭେ ଓ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ଶପଥ କରିଛକ୍ସ୍ଟ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ସର୍ବଦା ବନ୍ଧକ୍ସ୍ଟ ହାଇେ ରହିବା। ଆମ୍ଭେ କହିଲକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଯେ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଚିରଦିନ ପାଇଁ ଆମ୍ଭ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭର ବଂଶଧରମାନଙ୍କର ସାକ୍ଷୀ।

ତା'ପରେ ମୀଖଲ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଏକ ଝରକା ଦଇେ ବାହାରକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ପଠାଇ ଦେଲେ। ଦାଉଦ ରକ୍ଷା ପାଇଗଲେ ଏବଂ ଦୌଡି ପଳାଇ ଗଲେ।
ଯିହୋଶୂୟ 2:15
ସହେି ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଲୋକଟିର ଘର ନଗରର ପ୍ରାଚୀର ମଧିଅରେ ଥିଲା। ଏହା ପ୍ରାଚୀରର ଏକ ଅଂଶ ଥିଲା। ତେଣୁ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଲୋକଟି ଏକ ଦଉଡି ସାହାୟ୍ଯ ରେ ଝରକା ଦଇେ ଏ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଖସି ୟିବାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ କଲା।
