ଲୋକମାନେ ମଧ୍ଯ ବିଶ୍ବାସ କଲେ ଯେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ମାଶାଙ୍କେୁ ପଠାଇଛନ୍ତି। ଯେତବେେଳେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲୀୟମାନେ ଶୁଣିଲେ ଯେ, ପରମେଶ୍ବର ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଅସୁବିଧା ଦେଖିଛନ୍ତି ଏବଂ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ପାଇଁ ଦୁଃଖ କଲେ। ସମାନେେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରଣାମ କଲେ ଓ ଉପାସନା କଲେ।

ଯେଉଁ ବୀଜ ପଥର ଉପରେ ପଡିଥିଲା, ତାହା ସହେି ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ଭଳି, ଯେଉଁମାନେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଉପଦେଶ ଶୁଣନ୍ତି ଓ ଆନନ୍ଦ ରେ ତାହା ଗ୍ରହଣ କରନ୍ତି। କିନ୍ତୁ ତା'ର ଚରେ ସହେି ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ହୃଦୟ ମଧିଅରେ ଗଭୀରକୁ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରିପା ରନୋହିଁ। ସମାନେେ କିଛି ସମୟ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ବିଶ୍ବାସ କରନ୍ତି, କିନ୍ତୁ ପରୀକ୍ଷାର ସମୟ ଆସିଲେ ସମାନେେ ବିଶ୍ବାସ କରିବା ବନ୍ଦ କରନ୍ତି। ସମାନେେ ବିଶ୍ବାସ ହ ରଇେ ବସନ୍ତି ଓ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଦୂ ରଇେ ଯାଆନ୍ତି।

ଏହାପରେ ଆମ୍ଭର ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷମାନେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ୟାହା କଲେ ତାହା ବିଶ୍ବାସ କଲେ। ସମାନେେ ତାଙ୍କର ପ୍ରଶଂସା କରି ଗୀତ ଗାଇଲେ।

ଏହାପରେ ଦାଉଦ ସବୁ ଦଳର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଏକତ୍ରୀତ କରି କହିଲେ, ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କର ଧନ୍ଯବାଦ କର। ତେଣୁ ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କର ପ୍ରଶଂସାଗାନ କଲେ, ଯେଉଁ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଉପାସନା ସମାନଙ୍କେର ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷମାନେ ମଧ୍ଯ କରୁଥିଲେ। ସମାନେେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଓ ରାଜାଙ୍କୁ ସମ୍ମାନ ଜଣାଇବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଭୂମିରେ ଆଣ୍ଠୁମାଡ଼ି ପଡ଼ିଲେ।

ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ କହିବ, 'ଏହା ହେଉଛି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ଯ ରେ ନିସ୍ତାର ପର୍ବୀଯ ବଳିଦାନ। କାରଣ? ଯେ ତବେଳେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ମିଶର ରେ ଥିଲୁ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସେତବେେଳେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଛାଡ କବଳେ ମିଶରବସୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆଘାତ କରିଥିଲେ। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମିଶରବାସୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ହତ୍ଯା କଲା ବେଳେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ସୁରକ୍ଷା ହଇେଥିଲେ। ଯେଉଁଥିପାଇଁ ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ଲୋକମାନେ ନତମସ୍ତକ ହାଇେ ପ୍ରଣାମ କଲେ।'
