ଏଥି ରେ ଇତ୍ତଯ ରାଜାଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଉତ୍ତର ଦଇେ କହିଲା, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଜୀବିତ ଥିବା ପ୍ରମାଣେ ଓ ମାରେପ୍ରଭକ୍ସ୍ଟ ମହାରାଜା ଜୀବିତ ଥିବା ପ୍ରମାଣେ, ମୁ ଆପଣଙ୍କ ସହିତ ରହିବି। ମୁ ଆପଣଙ୍କର ଦାସ। ଜୀବନ ରେ ବା ମୃତକ୍ସ୍ଟ୍ଯ ରେ ମୁ ଆପଣଙ୍କ ସହିତ ରହିବି।

ଏଲିଯ ଇଲୀଶାୟକୁ କହିଲେ, ମୁଁ ବିନଯ କରୁଛି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଏଠା ରେ ଥାଅ, କାରଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମାେତେ ଯିରୀହାକେୁ ପଠାଇଛନ୍ତି।

ଏଲିଯ ଇଲୀଶାୟକୁ କହିଲେ, ମୁଁ ବିନଯ କରୁଛି ଏଠା ରେ ରୁହନ୍ତୁ, କାରଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମାେତେ ବୈଥଲକେୁ ୟିବାକୁ କହିଛନ୍ତି।
ପ୍ରଥମ ଶାମୁୟେଲ 25:26

କିନ୍ତୁ ଦାଉଦ ଦେଲେ, ତକ୍ସ୍ଟମ୍ଭ ବାପା ଭଲଭାବରେ ଜାଣନ୍ତି ଯେ ମୁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ସାଙ୍ଗ। ତକ୍ସ୍ଟମ୍ଭ ବାପା ନିଜକକ୍ସ୍ଟ କହିଲେ, 'ଯୋନାଥନ ନିଶ୍ଚଯ ଏହା ଜାଣି ନଥିବ। ଯଦି ସେ ଜାଣେ ତା'ର ହୃଦଯ ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟଃଖ ରେ ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହାଇଯେିବ, ସେ ମଧ୍ଯ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ କହିପାରି ଥାନ୍ତେ।' କିନ୍ତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଏବଂ ପ୍ରଭକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଜୀବିତ ଥିବା ବେଳେ ମୁ ମୃତକ୍ସ୍ଟ୍ଯର ନିକଟତର ହେଉଅଛି।
