ମାତ୍ର ଦରିଦ୍ର ଲୋକଟିର ଗୋଟିଏ ସାନ ମେଣ୍ତା ଛକ୍ସ୍ଟଆ ବ୍ଯତୀତ ଆଉ କିଛି ନଥିଲା। ସେ ମଧ୍ଯ ତାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ କିଣି ପାଳକ୍ସ୍ଟଥିଲା। ତା' ସଙ୍ଗେ ଓ ତା'ର ବାଳକମାନଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗେ ସେ ଏକତ୍ର ବଢିଲା। ମେଣ୍ତା ଛକ୍ସ୍ଟଆଟି ତା'ର ନିଜ ତକ୍ସ୍ଟଣ୍ତରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଆହାର ଖାଇଲା ଓ ତାହାର ନିଜ ପାତ୍ରରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ପାନ କଲା ଓ ତା'ର କୋଳ ରେ ମଧ୍ଯ ଶଯନ କଲା। ସହେି ମେଣ୍ତା ଛକ୍ସ୍ଟଆଟି ସେ ଗରୀବ ଲୋକଟିର ଝିଅପରି ବଢିଲା।
