ଥରେ ଅରାମର ରାଜା ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ୟୁଦ୍ଧ କରୁଥିଲେ। ସେ ନିଜର ସନୋର ଉଚ୍ଚକର୍ମଗ୍ଭରୀ ସହିତ ଏକ ସଭା ଥିଲା ଓ ସେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଆଦେଶ ଦେଲେ, ଏମିତି ସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ଲୁଚିରୁହ ଯେତବେେଳେ ସମାନେେ ଆସିବେ। ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲୀୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆକ୍ରମଣ କର।

ମାତ୍ର ଅରାମର ରାଜା ତାଙ୍କର ବତିଶ ରଥାଧ୍ଯକ୍ଷଙ୍କୁ ଆଦେଶ ଦେଲେ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ରାଜା ବ୍ଯତୀତ ଅନ୍ୟ କାହା ସଙ୍ଗେ ୟୁଦ୍ଧ କରନାହିଁ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ନିଶ୍ଚଯ ତାକୁ ହତ୍ଯା କରିବ।
ପ୍ରଥମ ରାଜାବଳୀ 20:34
ସେତବେେଳେ ବିନ୍ହଦଦ୍ ଆହାବ୍ଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ମାରେ ପିତା ଯେଉଁ ନଗରଗୁଡିକ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପିତାଙ୍କଠାରୁ ନଇେ ଥିଲେ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ସଗେୁଡିକ ଫରୋଇ ଦବୋକୁ ଯାଉଛି। ଯେ ହତେୁ ମାରେ ପିତା ଯେପରି ଶମରିଯା ରେ ବଜାର ଓ ଦୋକାନମାନ କରିଥିଲେ ଆପଣ ଦମ୍ମେଶକରେ ସହେିପରି କରିବେ।
ପ୍ରଥମ ରାଜାବଳୀ 20:23
ବିନ୍ହଦଦ୍ର ଅଧିକାରୀମାନେ ତାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ଦବେତାଗଣ ପର୍ବତଗଣର ଦବେତାଗଣ ଅଟନ୍ତି। ତେଣୁ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲୀମାନେ ବିଜଯୀ ହେଲେ। ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ପର୍ବତ ରେ ୟୁଦ୍ଧକରି ହାରିଲୁ। ମାତ୍ର ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଯଦି ପଦା ରେ ୟୁଦ୍ଧ କରୁ, ତବେେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ଅପେକ୍ଷା ଅଧିକ ଶକ୍ତିଶାଳୀ ହବେୁ।
ଯିଶାଇୟ 8:10
ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ୟୁଦ୍ଧ ପାଇଁ ଯେତେ ମନ୍ତ୍ରଣା କଲେ ମଧ୍ଯ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ମନ୍ତ୍ରଣା ସଫଳ ହବେ ନାହିଁ। ତୁମ୍ଭର ସୈନ୍ଯମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଆଦେଶ ନିଷ୍ଫଳ ହବେ। କାହିଁକି ଏହା ଘଟିବ। କାରଣ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଅଛନ୍ତି।
