ଦାସ ପିଲାଟିକୁ ତା'ର ମାତା ନିକଟକୁ ନଇଗେଲା। ପିଲାଟି ତା'ର ମାତା କୋଳ ରେ ମଧ୍ଯାହ୍ନ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ରହି ମରିଗଲା।

| he sat | וַיֵּ֧שֶׁב | wayyēšeb | va-YAY-shev |
| on | עַל | ʿal | al |
| knees her | בִּרְכֶּ֛יהָ | birkêhā | beer-KAY-ha |
| till | עַד | ʿad | ad |
| noon, | הַֽצָּהֳרַ֖יִם | haṣṣāhŏrayim | ha-tsa-hoh-RA-yeem |
| and then died. | וַיָּמֹֽת׃ | wayyāmōt | va-ya-MOTE |
