ୟୋଯାଶଙ୍କର ମୃତ୍ଯୁ ହେଲା ଓ ସେ ନିଜର ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷଗଣଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଶମରିଯା ରେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ରାଜାମାନଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗେ କବର ନେଲେ। ତାଙ୍କ ଅନ୍ତେ ତାଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ର ୟାରବିଯାମ ନୂତନ ରାଜା ରୂପେ ପରିଚିତ ହେଲେ।
