ତା'ପରେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ରାଜା କହିଲେ, ମୀଖାଯଙ୍କୁ ନଇୟୋଅ ଓ ତାଙ୍କୁ ନଗରର ନଗରପାଳ ଆମାନେ ଓ ରାଜାଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ର ୟୋଯାଶ୍ଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ପଠାଇଦିଅ।

ତାଙ୍କର ରାଜତ୍ବର ଅଷ୍ଟାଦଶ ବର୍ଷା ରେ ସେ ସବୁ ସ୍ଥାନ ଓ ମନ୍ଦିର ପବିତ୍ର କଲାପରେ, ଯୋଶିୟଯ, ଶାଫନ୍, ମା ସଯେ ଏବଂ ୟୋଯାହଙ୍କୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କର ମନ୍ଦିର ମରାମତି ପାଇଁ ପଠାଇଲେ। ଶାଫାନ୍ଙ୍କ ପିତାଙ୍କର ନାମ ଥିଲା ଅତ୍ସଲିଯ। ମା ସଯେ ନଗରର ନେତା ଥିଲେ ଓ ୟୋଯାହଙ୍କ ପିତାଙ୍କର ନାମ ଥିଲା ୟୋଯାହସ। ୟୋଯାହ ବିତରଣ ରକ୍ଷକ ଥିଲେ।
ଯିରିମିୟ 37:15
ଆଉ ସହେି ଅଧିପତିମାନେ ଯିରିମିୟଙ୍କ ଉପ ରେ ଅତ୍ଯନ୍ତ କ୍ ରୋଧାନ୍ବିତ ହାଇେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରହାର କଲେ ଓ ଯୋନାଥନ୍ ଲେଖକ ଗୃହସ୍ଥିତ କାରାଗାର ରେ ରଖିଲେ। କାରଣ ସମାନେେ ଯୋନାଥନ୍ ଗୃହକୁ କାରାଗାର ରେ ପରିଣତ କରିଥିଲେ।
ଯିରିମିୟ 38:6
ଏଣୁ ସମାନେେ ଯିରିମିୟଙ୍କୁ ନଇେ ପ୍ରହରୀ ପ୍ରାଙ୍ଗଣସ୍ଥିତ ମଲିଯ ରାଜପୁତ୍ରର କୂପ ରେ ପକାଇ ଦେଲେ। ସମାନେେ ରଜ୍ଜୁ ରେ ଯିରିମିୟଙ୍କୁ କୂପ ମଧ୍ଯକୁ ଓହ୍ଲାଇ ଦେଲେ। ପୁଣି ସହେି କୂପ ରେ ଜଳ ନ ଥିଲା, କବଳେ ପଙ୍କ ଥିଲା। ଯିରିମିୟ ସହେି ପଙ୍କ ରେ ନିମଗ୍ନ ହେଲେ।

କିନ୍ତୁ ପାଉଲ ଯେତବେେଳେ ଧାର୍ମିକ ଜୀବନ, ଆତ୍ମସଂୟମ ଓ ଆଗାମୀ ବିଚ଼ାର ବିଷୟ ରେ କହିଲେ, ସେତବେେଳେ ଫଲେୀକ୍ସ୍ ଭୟଭୀତ ହାଇଗେଲେ। ଫଲେୀକ୍ସ୍ କହିଲେ, ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯାଅ। ମାରେ ସମୟ ହେଲେ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଡ଼ାକିବି।
