ସୋରର ରାଜା ହୀରମ୍ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କର ସାଙ୍ଗ ଥିଲେ। ଯେତବେେଳେ ସେ ଶୁଣିବାକୁ ପାଇଲେ ଯେ, ତାଙ୍କ ପିତା ଦାଉଦ୍ଙ୍କ ପରେ ଶ ଲୋମନ ନୂଆ ରାଜା ରୂପେ ଅଭିଷିକ୍ତ ହାଇେଛନ୍ତି, ସେ ତାଙ୍କ ବାର୍ତ୍ତାବାହାକମାନଙ୍କୁ ତାଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ପଠାଇଲେ।

ହୀରମ୍ ସୋର ନଗରର ରାଜା ଥିଲେ। ହୀରମ୍ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ବାର୍ତ୍ତାବହକମାନଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ ରରଣେ କଲେ। ହୀରମ୍ ଆହୁରି ମଧ୍ଯ ଏରସ ବୃକ୍ଷର ବଡ଼ ବଡ଼ କାଠଗଣ୍ଡି, ପଥର କଟାଳୀ ଓ ବଢ଼ଇମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ପଠାଇଲେ। ଦାଉଦଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଏକ ଗୃହ ନିର୍ମାଣ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ହୀରମ୍ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ପଠାଇଲେ।

ଦିତୀୟ ଶାମୁୟେଲ 5:11
ସୋରର ରାଜା ହୀରମ୍ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କ ନିକଟକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଦୂତଗଣ ପଠାଇଲେ। ହୀରମ୍ ମଧ୍ଯ ଏରସ କାଠ, ବଢାଇ ଓ ରାଜମିସ୍ତ୍ରୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ପଠାଇଲେ। ସମାନେେ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଏକ ଘର ତିଆରି କଲେ।

ଦିତୀୟ ବଂଶାବଳୀ 2:3
ଏହାପରେ ଶଲୋମନ, ହୂରମ ନିକଟକୁ ବାର୍ତ୍ତା ପଠାଇଲେ। ହୂରମ୍, ସୋର ସହରର ରାଜା ଥିଲେ। ଶଲୋମନ କହିଲେ, ମାରେ ବାପା ଦାଉଦଙ୍କୁ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ କଲାପରି ମାେତେ ମଧ୍ଯ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ କର। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଦବଦୋରୁ ଗଛର କାଠ ତାଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ପଠାଇଲେ, ଯେପରି ସେ ବାସ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଏକ ଗୃହ ନିର୍ମାଣ କରିପାରନ୍ତି।

ପ୍ରଥମ ରାଜାବଳୀ 5:10
ତେଣୁ ହରୀମ ଶ ଲୋମନଙ୍କୁ ସମସ୍ତ ଏରସକାଠ ଓ ଶିଟୀମ କାଠ ଦେଲେ। ଯାହା ସେ ଦରକାର କଲେ।

ଆମୋଷ 1:9
ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହିକଥା କୁହନ୍ତି: ଆମ୍ଭେ ନିଶ୍ଚିତ ସୋରର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦଣ୍ତ ଦବୋ କାରଣ ସମାନେେ ବହୁ ଅପରାଧ କରିଥିଲେ। ଆଉ ମଧ୍ଯ ସମାନେେ ସମଗ୍ର ଜାତିକୁ ନଇଗେଲେଏବଂ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ କ୍ରୀତଦାସ ରୂପେ ଇଦୋମକୁ ପ୍ ରରଣେ କରିଥିଲେ। ସମାନେେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ବନ୍ଧୁତ୍ବ ଚୁକ୍ତିକୁ ମନେ ପକାଇ ନଥିଲେ।

ହୀରମ ଶଲୋମନଙ୍କ ଦତ୍ତ ନଗରଗୁଡିକୁ ଦେଖିବାକୁ ସୋରରୁ ଆସିଲେ, ମାତ୍ର ସେସବୁ ତାହାର ସନ୍ତାଷଜେନକ ହେଲା ନାହିଁ।

ରାଜା ଶଲୋମନ ବେଠିକର୍ମ ପାଇଁ 30,000 ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ବାଧ୍ଯ କଲେ।

ଏହାପରେ ଅମ୍ମାନେ ସନ୍ତାନଗଣର ରାଜା ମରିଗଲା ପରେ ତା'ର ପକ୍ସ୍ଟତ୍ର ହାନୂନ୍ ରାଜ ପଦ ରେ ଅଭିଷିକ୍ତ ହେଲା।
