ସେତବେେଳେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ପ୍ ରରେିତ ଅଗ୍ନି ପ୍ରଜ୍ଜଳିତ ହେଲା ଓ ସହେି ଅଗ୍ନି ହାମାେର୍ଥକ ବଳି, କାଠ, ପ୍ରସ୍ତର, ଧୂଳି ଗ୍ରାସ କରି ୟଜ୍ଞବଦେୀର ଗ୍ଭରିପାଖ ରେ ଥିବା ଖାଇର ଜଳକୁ ଶୁଷ୍କ କରି ଦଲୋ।

ଶଲୋମନ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରିସାରିବା ପରେ ଆକାଶରୁ ଅଗ୍ନି ଆସି ହାମବେଳି ଓ ବଳିଦାନକୁ ଗ୍ରାସ କଲା ଓ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଗୌରବ ମନ୍ଦିରକୁ ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କଲା।
ପ୍ରଥମ ବଂଶାବଳୀ 21:26
ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଉପାସନା କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଦାଉଦ ଏକ ୟଜ୍ଞବଦେୀ ନିର୍ମାଣ କଲେ। ଦାଉଦ ହାମବେଳି ଏବଂ ମଙ୍ଗଳାର୍ଥକ ବଳି ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କଲେ। ଦାଉଦ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କଲେ। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସ୍ବର୍ଗରୁ ଅଗ୍ନି ପଠାଇ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନାର ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଲେ। ହାମବେଳି, ନବୈେଦ୍ଯ ଉପରେ ସହେି ଅଗ୍ନି ଅବତରଣ କଲା।

ଏହାପରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଦୂତ ତାଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତ ରେ ଥିବା ୟଷ୍ଟିର ଅଗ୍ର ବଢାଇ ସହେି ମାଂସ ଓ ତାଡିଶୂନ୍ଯ ରୋଟୀକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ସ୍ପର୍ଶ କଲେ। ଏହାପରେ ପଥରରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଅଗ୍ନି ବାହାରିଲା ଏବଂ ତା ଉପରେ ଥିବା ମାଂସ ଓ ପିଠା ସଂପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ପୋଡି଼ଗଲା। ତା'ପରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଦୂତ ଅଦୃଶ୍ଯ ହାଇଗେଲେ।

ତୁମ୍ଭେ ବାଲ୍ ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦ୍ବକ୍ତାଗଣ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଦବେତାକୁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରିବ ଓ ମୁଁ ମାରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରିବି। ତହିଁରେ ଯେଉଁ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଅଗ୍ନିଦ୍ବାରା ଉତ୍ତର ଦବେେ ସହେି ପ୍ରକୃତ ପରମେଶ୍ବର। ତା'ପରେ ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକମାନେ ତାଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଏକମତ ହେଲେ ଏବଂ କହିଲେ, ଯାହା ତୁମ୍ଭେ କୁହ ଉତ୍ତମ ଅଟେ।
