1 Kings 18:10
ନିଶ୍ଚିତ ଭାବରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଅଛନ୍ତି। ମୁଁ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ନାମ ରେ ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା କରି କହୁଛି, ଦେଶ ମଧିଅରେ ଏପରି କୌଣସି ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀ ବା ରାଜ୍ଯ ନାହିଁ ଯେଉଁସ୍ଥାନକୁ ମାରେ ପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଅନ୍ବଷେଣ କରିବାକୁ ପଠାଇ ନାହାଁନ୍ତି। ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଖାଜେିବାକୁ ରାଜା ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ ଦେଶକୁ ଲୋକ ପଠାଇ ଅଛନ୍ତି। ସହେି ଦେଶର ଶାସକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଶପଥ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ବାଧ୍ଯ କରିଛନ୍ତି ଯେ, ସମାନେେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ଦେଶ ରେ ପାଇ ନାହାନ୍ତି।

ଏଲିଯ ତିସ୍ବୀଯର ଭବିଷ୍ଯତ ବକ୍ତା ଗିଲିଯଦ ରେ ରାଜା ଆହାବ୍ଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ଗିଲିଯଦର ପ୍ରବାସୀ ତିସ୍ବୀଯ ଏଲିଯ ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦ୍ବକ୍ତା ରାଜା ଆହାବ୍ଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ମୁଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କର ସବୋ କରେ। ତାଙ୍କର ଶକ୍ତି ଅନୁସାରେ ମୁଁ ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା କରୁଛି ଆସନ୍ତା କିଛି ବର୍ଷ ଦେଶ ରେ କାକର କି ବୃଷ୍ଟିପାତ ହବେନାହିଁ। ଯଦି ମୁଁ ଆଦେଶ ଦିଏ ତବେେ ବର୍ଷା ହବେ।

ଯୀଶୁ ଏକଥା କହିବା ବେଳେ ଲୋକମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ମାରିବା ପାଇଁ ପଥର ଉେଠଇଲେ। ମାତ୍ର ସେ ଲୁଚି ଗଲେ ଓ ପରେ ମନ୍ଦିର ପରିସରରୁ ବାହାରି ଚାଲିଗଲେ।

ଆହୁରି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ନାମ ରେ ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦବାକ୍ଯ ପ୍ରଚାରକାରୀ ଅନ୍ୟ ଏକ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତି ଥିଲା। ସେ କିରିଯତ୍-ସିଯାରୀମସ୍ଥ ସମଯିଯର ପୁତ୍ର ଉରିଯ ; ସେ ଯିରିମିୟର ସମସ୍ତ ବାକ୍ଯପରି ଏହି ନଗର ଓ ଏହି ଦେଶ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦବାକ୍ଯ ପ୍ରଚାର କରିଥିଲା।

ବିଧବାଟି ଉତ୍ତର ଦଲୋ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ନାମ ରେ ମୁଁ ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା କରି କହୁଛି, ମାେ ପାଖ ରେ ଖଣ୍ଡେ ହେଲେ ରୁଟୀ ନାହିଁ, କବଳେ କଳସ ରେ ମୁଠିଏ ମଇଦା ଓ ପାତ୍ର ରେ ଅଳ୍ପ ତଲେ ଅଛି। ଆଉ ଦେଖ, ମୁଁ ଦୁଇଖଣ୍ତ କାଠ ସଂଗ୍ରହ କରୁଛି, ତାକୁ ନେଲେ ମାେ ପାଇଁ ଓ ମାେ ପୁତ୍ର ପାଇଁ ପାକ କରି ଖାଇବୁ ଓ ତା'ପରେ କ୍ଷୁଧା ରେ ମରିବୁ।
ପ୍ରଥମ ରାଜାବଳୀ 17:9
ସୀଦୋନର ସାରିଫତ୍କୁ ୟାଇ ସଠାେରେ ବାସ କର। ସଠାେରେ ଥିବା ଜଣେ ବିଧବାଙ୍କୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆଜ୍ଞା ଦଇେଛୁ, ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଭରଣ ପୋଷଣ କରିବ।
ପ୍ରଥମ ରାଜାବଳୀ 17:5
ଏଲିଯ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଆଜ୍ଞାନୁସା ରେ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କଲେ। ସେ ୟର୍ଦ୍ଦନ ପୂର୍ବପାରିସ୍ଥ କରୀତ ନଦୀ ନିକଟକୁ ୟାଇ ବାସ କଲେ।
ପ୍ରଥମ ରାଜାବଳୀ 2:24
ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମାେତେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ରାଜା କରିଛନ୍ତି, ସେ ମାେତେ ମାରେ ପିତା ଦାଉଦଙ୍କ ସିଂହାସନ ରେ ଅଧିଷ୍ଠିତ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତାଙ୍କର ପ୍ରତୀଜ୍ଞା ରଖିଛନ୍ତି ଓ ମାେତେ ମାରେ ପରିବରକୁ ରାଜ୍ଯ ଦଇେଛନ୍ତି। ମୁଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ନାମ ରେ ଶପଥ କରି କହୁଛି, ଯେ କୌଣସି ମତେ ଅଦୋନିଯ ଆଜି ନିଶ୍ଚଯ ହତ ହବେ।

ତା'ପରେ ରାଜା ଶପଥ କଲେ, ଯେ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଜୀବିତ ଅଛନ୍ତି ପରମେଶ୍ବର ମାେତେ ସମସ୍ତ ବିପଦରୁ ରକ୍ଷା କରିଛନ୍ତି। ମୁଁ ଏହି ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା କରୁଛି।
ପ୍ରଥମ ଶାମୁୟେଲ 29:6
ତେଣୁ ଅଖୀଶ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଡାକି କହିଲେ, ନିଶ୍ଚିତ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଜୀବିତ ଥିବା ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାରେ ଅନକ୍ସ୍ଟଗତ ରହିବ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାରେ ସୈନ୍ଯ ବାହୀନି ରେ ୟୋଗ ଦେଲେ ମୁ ବହକ୍ସ୍ଟତ ଖକ୍ସ୍ଟସି ହବେି। ମାେ ସହିତ ରହିବା ଦିନଠାରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ମୁ ତୁମ୍ଭର କୌଣସି ଦୋଷ ପାଇ ନାହିଁ। ତଥାପି ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟ ଅଧିପତିମାନଙ୍କ ଦୃଷ୍ଟି ରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଉତ୍ତମ ନକ୍ସ୍ଟହଁ।
