ଯଦି କିଏ କୁ ହେ, ମୁଁ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ଜାଣେ, କିନ୍ତୁ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଆଜ୍ଞା ପାଳନ କରେ ନାହିଁ, ତବେେ ସେ ଜଣେ ମିଥ୍ଯାବାଦୀ। ତାହାଙ୍କଠା ରେ ସତ୍ଯ ନାହିଁ।

ସେ ଲୋକମାନେ କୁହନ୍ତି ଯେ ସମାନେେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ଜାଣିଛନ୍ତି। କିନ୍ତୁ ଯେଉଁସବୁ ମନ୍ଦ କାମ ସମାନେେ କରୁଛନ୍ତି, ସେଥିରୁ ଜଣାଯାଏ ଯେ ସମାନେେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ। ସମାନେେ ଭୟଙ୍କର ଲୋକ, ଆଜ୍ଞା ବି ରୋଧୀ ଓ କୌଣସି ଭଲ କାମ ପାଇଁ ଅ ଯୋଗ୍ଯ।

ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକ ଆଲୋକରେ ଅଛି ବୋଲି କୁ ହେ କିନ୍ତୁ ନିଜ ଭାଇକୁ ଘୃଣା କରେ, ତବେେ ସେ ଏପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ଅନ୍ଧକାର ରେ ରହିଛି।

ଯଦି କହେି କ ହେ ମୁଁ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ ରମେ କରେ, କିନ୍ତୁ ନିଜ ଭାଇକୁ ଘୃଣା କରେ, ତବେେ ସେ ହେଉଛି ମିଥ୍ଯାବାଦୀ, କାରଣ ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକ ତାହାର ଦେଖିଥିବା ଭାଇକୁ ଭଲ ପାଏ ନାହିଁ, ତବେେ ଯେଉଁ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ସେ କବେେ ଦେଖି ନାହିଁ, ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ ରମେ କରି ପାରିବ ନାହିଁ।

ସମାନେେ ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ଚିତ୍କାର କରି କହନ୍ତି, ' ହେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଆମ୍ଭେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲବାସୀ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଜାଣୁ।'
