ଶାଉଲ ୈସନ୍ଯମାନଙ୍କୁ ଏକତ୍ରୀତ କରି ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ୟକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧଭୂମିକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ପଠାଇଲେ। ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟ ସୈନ୍ଯମାନେ ଏମିତି ଦ୍ବନ୍ଦ ରେ ପଡିଗଲେ ଯେ, ଏପରିକି ସମାନେେ ନିଜ ନିଜ ଖଡ୍ଗ ଆପଣା ସାଥୀ ସୈନ୍ଯ ବିରକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧ ରେ ଉଠାଉଥିଲେ।

ଅେମ୍ମାନୀୟ ଓ ମାୟୋବୀଯମାନେ ସଯେୀର ପାର୍ବତ୍ଯାଞ୍ଚଳର ଲୋକଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ୟୁଦ୍ଧ କରିବା ଆରମ୍ଭ କରି ଦେଲେ। ଅମ୍ନୋନୀଯ ଓ ମାୟୋବୀଯମାନେ ସଯେୀର ପାର୍ବତ୍ଯାଞ୍ଚଳର ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ହତ୍ଯା ଓ ବିନାଶ କଲେ। ସମାନେେ ସଯେୀରର୍ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ହତ୍ଯା କରିବା ପରେ, ପରସ୍ପରକୁ ହତ୍ଯା କଲେ।

ସେତବେେଳେ ବିନ୍ଯାମୀନ ପ୍ରଦେଶର ଗିବିଯା ରେ ଶାଉଲଙ୍କ ସୈନ୍ଯମାନେ ଦେଖିଲେ ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟ ସୈନ୍ଯମାନେ ଏଣତେଣେେ ଦୌଡ଼ନ୍ତିକ୍ସ୍ଟଛନ୍ତି।

ପରମେଶ୍ବର କୁହନ୍ତି, ମିଶରୀଯମାନେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ୟୁଦ୍ଧ କରିବେ, ମୁଁ ତା'ର କାରଣ ହବେି। ଲୋକେ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ଭାଇ ବିପକ୍ଷ ରେ ସଂଗ୍ରାମ କରିବେ। ପଡ଼ୋଶୀ ପଡ଼ୋଶୀ ମଧିଅରେ ୟୁଦ୍ଧ ହବେ। ନଗର ନଗର ମଧିଅରେ ଓ ରାଜ୍ଯ ରାଜ୍ଯ ମଧିଅରେ ଲଢ଼ିବେ।
