ତେଣୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ମଧ୍ଯକୁ ବିଷଧର ସର୍ପ ପ୍ ରରଣେ କଲେ। ସହେି ସର୍ପମାନେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦଂଶନ କରିବାରୁ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ଅନକେ ଲୋକ ମଲେ।

Jeremiah 8:17
ହେ ଯିହୁଦାର ଲୋକମାନେ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ଯକୁ ସର୍ପ ଓ କାଳସର୍ପମାନଙ୍କୁ ପଠାଇବା, ସମାନେେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦଂଶନ କରିବେ। ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ କହେି ଅଟକାଇ ପାରିବେ ନାହିଁ। ଏହା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି।
Isaiah 14:29
ହେ ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟ ଦେଶ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ପାଇଁ ଖୁସି ହୁଅ ନାହିଁ। କାରଣ ଯେଉଁ ରାଜା ପ୍ରହାର କରୁଥିଲେ ସେ ଆଉ ନାହାନ୍ତି। ମାତ୍ର ପ୍ରକୃତ ରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସୁଖୀ ହାଇପୋରିବ ନାହିଁ। ଏହା ସତ୍ଯ ଯେ ସହେି ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଶାସନ ଶଷେ ହାଇେଛି। ମାତ୍ର ସହେି ରାଜାର ସନ୍ତାନ ଆସି ଶାସନ କରିବ। ଗୋଟିଏ ସର୍ପ ଆଉ ଏକ ଭୟଙ୍କର ସର୍ପକୁ ଜନ୍ମ ଦଲୋପରି ଏହା ସତ ହବେ। ସହେି ନୂତନ ରାଜା ଉଡ଼ନ୍ତା ସର୍ପ ପରି ଅଳ୍ପ ଭୟଙ୍କର ହବେ ନାହିଁ।
