ଲୋକମାନେ ବାସ୍ତବ ରେ ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ୟ୍ଯ ହାଇେ ଯାଇଥିଲେ। ସମାନେେ କହୁଥିଲେ, ଯୀଶୁ ସବୁ କିଛି ସୁସ୍ଥ କରୁଛନ୍ତି, ଏପରିକୁ ସେ ବଧିରକୁ ଶ୍ରବଣ -ଶକ୍ତି ଓ ମୂକକୁ ବାକ୍ ଶକ୍ତି ପ୍ରଦାନ କରୁଛନ୍ତି।
