Luke 9:45
କିନ୍ତୁ ଶିଷ୍ଯମାନେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ଏ କଥାର କିଛି ଅର୍ଥ ବୁଝି ପାରିଲେ ନାହିଁ। ଏହାର ଅର୍ଥ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ପ୍ରତି ଲୁକାଯିତ ଥିଲା। ତେଣୁ ସମାନେେ କିଛି ଏହାକୁ ବୁଝି ପାରିଲେ ନାହିଁ କିନ୍ତୁ ସମାନେେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ଏ ବିଷୟ ରେ ପଚାରିବାକୁ ସାହସ କଲେ ନାହିଁ।

ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କର ଶିଷ୍ଯମାନେ ସେତବେେଳେ ଏହି ଘଟଣାର ଅର୍ଥ ବୁଝିପାରି ନଥିଲେ। କିନ୍ତୁ ଯୀଶୁ ଯେତବେେଳେ ମହିମାନ୍ବିତ ହେଲେ ସେତବେେଳେ ସମାନେେ ବୁଝି ପାରିଲେ ଯେ, ଏହା ତାହାଙ୍କ ବିଷୟ ରେ ଲଖାଯାେଇଥିଲା। ତା'ପରେ ଶିଷ୍ଯମାନେ ମନେ ପକାଇଲେ ଯେ ସମାନେେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଏହା ସବୁ କରିଛନ୍ତି।

ଥୋମା କହିଲେ, ପ୍ରଭୁ, ଆପଣ କେଉଁଆଡେ ଯାଉଛନ୍ତି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଜାଣି ନାହୁଁ। ତେଣୁ ସଠାେକୁ ୟିବାର ପଥ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଜାଣିବୁ କିପରି?

ଯାହା ସବୁ ଘଟିବ ସେ ସମସ୍ତ କଥା ଯୀଶୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ କହି ଦେଲେ। ସେ କିଛି ହେଲେ ଲୁଚାଇ ରଖିଲେ ନାହିଁ। ପିତର ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ଗୋଟିଏ ପାଖକୁ ଅଲଗା ନଇେ ସେ ଏସବୁ କହିଥିବା ୟୋଗୁ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ସମାଲୋଚନା କଲେ।

ଶିଷ୍ଯମାନେ ଏହାର ଅର୍ଥ ବିଷୟ ରେ ଆଲୋଚନା କଲେ। ସମାନେେ କହିଲେ, ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପାଖ ରେ ରୋଟୀ ନାହିଁ ବୋଲି ଯୀଶୁ ଏକଥା କହିଲେ।
