Luke 21
1 ଯୀଶୁ ଦେଖିଲେ ଯେ କେତକେ ଧନୀଲୋକ ମନ୍ଦିରର ଦାନବାକ୍ସ ରେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଦାନ ଦେଉଛନ୍ତି।
2 ଯୀଶୁ ଗୋଟିଏ ଗରିବ ବିଧବାକୁ ଦେଖିଲେ। ସହେି ବିଧବା ଲୋକଟି ଦାନବାକ୍ସ ରେ ଦୁଇଟି ତମ୍ବା ପଇସା ପକାଇଲା।
3 ଯୀଶୁ କହିଲେ, ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ସତ୍ଯ କହୁଛି, ଏହି ଗରୀବ ବିଧବାଟି କବଳେ ଦୁଇଟି ତମ୍ବାପଇସା ଦାନ ଦଲୋ। କିନ୍ତୁ ପ୍ରକୃତ ରେ ସେ ଏହି ଧନୀଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ଠାରୁ ବହୁତ ଅଧିକ ଦଲୋ।
4 ଧନୀଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ପ୍ରଚୁର ଅର୍ଥ ଅଛି। ସମାନେେ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଦରକାର ନଥିବା ଅର୍ଥ ଦାନ କଲେ। ଏ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀଲୋକଟି ବହୁତ ଗରିବ। କିନ୍ତୁ ସେ ତାର ସର୍ବସ୍ବ ଦାନ କରି ଦଲୋ। ସହେି ଅର୍ଥ ତା'ର ବଞ୍ଚିବା ପାଇଁ ଦରକାର ଥିଲା।
5 କେତକେ ଶିଷ୍ଯ ମନ୍ଦିର ବିଷୟ ରେ କଥାବାର୍ତ୍ତା ହେଉଥିଲେ। ସମାନେେ କହିଲେ, ଏହା ଗୋଟିଏ ସୁନ୍ଦର ମନ୍ଦିର। ଏହା ସବୁଠାରୁ ଭଲ ପଥର ରେ ତିଆରି ହାଇେଛି। ଦେଖ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ କିପରି ଭଲଭଲ ଦାନ ଅର୍ପଣ କରା ଯାଇଛି!
6 କିନ୍ତୁ ଯୀଶୁ କହିଲେ, ଏବେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଏଠା ରେ ଯାହା ସବୁ ଦେଖୁଛ, ସମୟ ଆସିବ, ଯେତବେେଳେ ଏସବୁ ଧ୍ବଂସ ହାଇଯେିବ। ଏହି ଭବନଗୁଡିକର ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ ପଥର ଭୂମିସାତ୍ ହାଇେ ପଡିବ। ଗୋଟିଏ ହେଲେ ପଥର ଅନ୍ୟ ଗୋଟିଏ ପଥର ଉପରେ ରହି ପାରିବନାହିଁ।
7 କେତକେ ଶିଷ୍ଯ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ପଚାରିଲେ, ଗୁରୁ! ଏସବୁ ଘଟଣା କବେେ ଘଟିବ? କି ପ୍ରକାରର ଲକ୍ଷଣ ଦ୍ବାରା ଜଣା ପଡିବ ଯେ ଏ ସବୁ ଘଟଣା ଘଟିବାର ସମୟ ଆସି ଗଲାଣି?
8 ଯୀଶୁ କହିଲେ, ସାବଧାନ! ଭ୍ରାନ୍ତହୁଅ ନାହିଁ। ମାେ ନାମ ବ୍ଯବହାର କରି ଅନକେ ଲୋକ ଆସିବେ। ସମାନେେ କହିବେ, 'ମୁଁ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟ' ଏବଂ 'ଉପୟୁକ୍ତ ସମୟ ଆସିଯାଇଛି।' କିନ୍ତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଅନୁସରଣ କରିବନାହିଁ।
9 ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଯେତବେେଳେ ୟୁଦ୍ଧ ଓ ବିଦ୍ରୋହର ଜନରବ ଶୁଣିବ, କବେେ ଡରିୟିବ ନାହିଁ। ଏସବୁ ଘଟଣା ନିଶ୍ଚୟ ପ୍ରଥମେ ଘଟିବ। କିନ୍ତୁ ଅନ୍ତିମ ସମୟ ଆସିବାକୁ ବିଳମ୍ବ ହବେ।
10 ଯୀଶୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ କହିଲେ, ଦେଶ ଦେଶ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ଲଢଇେ କରିବେ। ରାଜ୍ଯ ରାଜ୍ଯ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ଲଢଇେ କରିବେ।
11 ଭୟାନକ ଭୂମିକମ୍ପ, ରୋଗ ଓ ଅମଙ୍ଗଳର ବିଷୟ ସବୁ ଅନକେ ସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ଘଟିବ। କେତକେ ସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ମରୁଡି ପଡିବ, ଲୋକେ ଖାଇବାକୁ ପାଇବେ ନାହିଁ। ଭୟଙ୍କର ଘଟଣାମାନ ଘଟିବ। ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଚତାବେନୀ ଦବୋ ପାଇଁ ଆକାଶ ରେ ଅନକେ ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ୟ୍ଯ ଜନକ ବିଷୟ ଦଖାୟିବେ।
12 କିନ୍ତୁ ଏସବୁ ଘଟଣା ଘଟିବା ପୂର୍ବରୁ ଲୋକେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ବନ୍ଦୀ କରିନବେେ, ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ୟନ୍ତ୍ରଣା ଦବେେ। ଲୋକମାନେ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ସମାଜଗୃହମାନଙ୍କ ରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ବିଚାର କରିବେ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ କାରାଗାର ରେ ବନ୍ଦୀ କରିବେ। ରାଜା ଓ ଶାସନକର୍ତ୍ତାଙ୍କ ସାମନା ରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ହାଜର କରାୟିବ। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ମାରେ ଅନୁସରଣ କରୁଥିବା ଯୋଗୁଁ ଲୋକମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଏଭଳି ବ୍ଯବହାର କରିବେ।
13 କିନ୍ତୁ ଏହା ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ମାେ ବିଷୟ ରେ କହିବାକୁ ସୁ ଯୋଗ ଦବେ।
14 ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ନିଜକୁ ରକ୍ଷା କରିବା ପାଇଁ କ'ଣ କହିବ, ସେଥିପାଇଁ ଆଦୌ ବ୍ଯସ୍ତ ହୁଅ ନାହିଁ।
15 ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ କହିବାକୁ ଜ୍ଞାନ ପ୍ରଦାନ କରିବି। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଯାହା କହିବ, ତୁମ୍ଭର କୌଣସି ଶତୃ ତାର ଉତ୍ତର ଦଇେ ପାରିବ ନାହିଁ।
16 ଏପରିକି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ବାପାମାଆ, ଭାଇ, ସମ୍ପର୍କୀୟ ଓ ବନ୍ଧୁମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ବିରୋଧୀ ହାଇଯେିବେ। ସମାନେେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ଯରୁ କେତକଙ୍କେୁ ମାରି ଦବେେ।
17 ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ମାରେ ଅନୁସରଣ କରୁଥିବା ଯୋଗୁଁ ସବୁ ଲୋକେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଘୃଣା କରିବେ।
18 କିନ୍ତୁ ପ୍ରକୃତ ରେ ଏଥି ମଧ୍ଯରୁ କାହାରି ଦ୍ବାରା ମଧ୍ଯ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ କ୍ଷତି ହବେନାହିଁ।
19 ଏହି ସବୁ ଘଟଣା ଭିତ ରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ବିଶ୍ବାସ ରେ ଦୃଢ ରହିଲେ ନିଜକୁ ରକ୍ଷା କରିପାରିବ।
20 ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେ ୟିରୂଶାଲମର ଚାରିପଟେ ସୈନ୍ଯବାହିନୀଙ୍କୁ ଘରେି ରହିଥିବାର ଦେଖିବ। ତବେେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଜାଣିପାରିବ ଯେ ୟିରୁଶାଲମର ଧ୍ବଂସ ହବୋ ସମୟ ଆସି ପହଞ୍ଚି ଗଲାଣି।
21 ସେତବେେଳେ ୟିହୂଦାର ଲୋକେ ପର୍ବତ ଆଡକୁ ପଳାଇୟିବା ଉଚିତ। ୟିରୁଶାଲମ ନଗର ଭିତ ରେ ଥିବା ଲୋକେ ଯଥାଶୀଘ୍ର ନଗର ଛାଡି ଚାଲିୟିବା ଉଚିତ। ଜଣେ ଯଦି ନଗର ବାହା ରେ ଥିବ, ତବେେ ସେ ନଗର ଭିତରକୁ ୟିବା ଉଚିତ ନୁହେଁ।
22 ପରମେଶ୍ବର କେତବେେଳେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦଣ୍ଡ ଦବେେ, ସହେି ସମୟ ବିଷୟ ରେ ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦ୍ବକ୍ତାମାନେ ଅନକେ କଥା ଲେଖିଛନ୍ତି। ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ସହେି ସମୟ ବିଷୟ ରେ କହୁଛି, ଯେତବେେଳେ ସମସ୍ତ ଘଟଣା ନିଶ୍ଚିତ ରୂପରେ ଘଟିବ।
23 ଗର୍ଭବତୀ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଓ କୋଳ ରେ େଛାଟ ଶିଶୁ ଥିବା ସ୍ତ୍ରୀମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ସହେି ଦିନଗୁଡିକ ଅତ୍ଯନ୍ତ ଭୟାନକ ହବେ। କାରଣ ସହେି ଦିନମାନଙ୍କ ରେ ଏହି ଦେଶ ଉପରକୁ ବହୁତ ବିପଦ ମାଡି ଆସିବ। ଏବଂ ଏହି ଲୋକଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର କୋରଧ କରିବେ।
24 କେତକେ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ସୈନ୍ଯମାନେ ମାରି ଦବେେ। ଅନ୍ୟ କେତକଙ୍କେୁ ବନ୍ଦୀ କରି ଅନ୍ୟ ସବୁ ଦେଶକୁ ପଠାଇ ଦିଆୟିବ। ଅଣଯିହୂଦୀଲୋକ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ସମୟ ଶଷେ ନ ହବୋ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ପବିତ୍ର ନଗର ୟିରୁଶାଲମକୁ ପଦଦଳିତ କରିବେ।
25 ସୂର୍ୟ୍ଯ, ଚନ୍ଦ୍ର ଓ ତାରାମାନଙ୍କ ରେ ସଙ୍କତେ ରୂପକ ଅନକେ ଅଦ୍ଭୁତ ବିଷୟ ଘଟିବ। ପୃଥିବୀ ରେ ଲୋକମାନେ ନିରାଶ ଅନୁଭବ କରିବ। ସମୁଦ୍ରଗୁଡିକ ଭୟଙ୍କର ରୂପ ଧାରଣ କରିବ। ଲୋକେ କ'ଣ ପାଇଁ ଏପରି ହେଲା, ଜାଣିବେ ନାହିଁ।
26 ସଂସାରକୁ ମାଡି ଆସୁଥିବା ବିପଦକୁ ଚିନ୍ତା କରି ଲୋକେ ଭୟ ରେ ମୂର୍ଚ୍ଛିତ ହାଇଯେିବେ। ଆକାଶ ମଣ୍ଡଳର ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ ବିଷୟ ବଦଳି ୟିବ।
27 ସେତବେେଳେ ଲୋକେ ମନୁଷ୍ଯ ପୁତ୍ରଙ୍କୁ ଶକ୍ତି ଓ ମହା ଗୌରବ ସହିତ ମେଘମାଳା ଉପରେ ଆସୁଥିବାର ଦେଖିବେ।
28 ଯେତବେେଳେ ଏସବୁ ଘଟଣା ଘଟିବା ଆରମ୍ଭ ହାଇଯେିବ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଭୟ କରିବନାହିଁ। ଉପରକୁ ଚାହିଁ ଖୁସି ହବେ, ଆଦୌ ବ୍ଯସ୍ତ ହବେନାହିଁ। କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ମୁକ୍ତି ସମୟ ପାଖ ହାଇଗେଲାଣି ବୋଲି ଏଥିରୁ ଜାଣିବ।
29 ତା'ପରେ ଯୀଶୁ ଏହି ଦୃଷ୍ଟାନ୍ତଟି କହିଲେ, ସବୁ ଗଛଗୁଡିକୁ ଦେଖ। ଡିମ୍ବିରି ଗଛଟି ଗୋଟିଏ ଭଲ ଉଦାହରଣ।
30 ସଗେୁଡିକରେ ଯେତବେେଳେ ନୂଆ ପତ୍ର କଅଁଳେ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଜାଣିଥାଅ ଯେ, ଗ୍ରୀଷ୍ମଋତୁ ଆସି ପହଞ୍ଚି ଯାଇଛି।
31 ସହେିଭଳି ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଯାହା କହିଛି ସଗେୁଡିକ ଘଟିବ। ଏହିସବୁ ଘଟଣା ଘଟିବା ଦେଖିଲେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଜାଣି ପାରିବ ଯେ, ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ରାଜ୍ଯ ନିକଟ ହାଇଗେଲାଣି।
32 ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ସତ୍ଯ କହୁଛି, ଏହି ସବୁ ରେ ଲୋକେ ବଞ୍ଚିଥିବା ସମୟ ଭିତ ରେ ଏସବୁ ଘଟଣା ଘଟିବ।
33 ପୃଥିବୀ ଓ ଆକାଶ ଲୋପ ହାଇଯୋଇପା ରେ। କିନ୍ତୁ ମାରେବାକ୍ଯ କଦାପି ଲୋପ ହବେନାହିଁ। ମାରେ ବାକ୍ଯ ଅନନ୍ତକାଳସ୍ଥାଯୀ।
34 ସାବଧାନ ରୁହ। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ମଦ୍ଯପାନ କରି ମାତାଲ ହାଇେ ନିଜ ସମୟ ନଷ୍ଟ କରନାହିଁ। ସାଂସାରିକ ବସ୍ତୁଗୁଡିକ ବିଷୟ ରେ ଅତ୍ଯଧିକ ଚିନ୍ତିତ ହାଇେ ପଡନାହିଁ। ସଭେଳେ କଲେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଜଡ ହାଇଯେିବ ଓ ଉଚିତ କଥା କବେେ ଭାବି ପାରିବ ନାହିଁ। ଏବଂ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ ନଥିବା ବେଳେ ଅନ୍ତିମକାଳ ଆସି ଯାଇପା ରେ।
35 ପୃଥିବୀ ରେ ରହୁଥିବା ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ପାଖକୁ ଏହା ଏକ ଫାନ୍ଦ ଭଳିଆସିୟିବା
36 ତେଣୁ ସଦା ବେଳେ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ ଥାଅ। ଯେଉଁସବୁ ଘଟଣା ଘଟିବାକୁ ଯାଉଅଛି, ସଗେୁଡିକ ମଧ୍ଯଦଇେ ନିରାପଦ ରେ ଗତି କରିବାକୁ ଶକ୍ତିଲାଭ ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କର। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଆତ୍ମାବିଶ୍ବାସର ସହିତ ମନୁଷ୍ଯପୁତ୍ରଙ୍କ ଆଗ ରେ ଠିଆ ହାଇେ ପାରିବା ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରା
37 ସହେି ଦିନଗୁଡିକରେ ଯୀଶୁ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ମନ୍ଦିର ରେ ଉପଦେଶ ଦେଉଥିଲେ। ରାତ୍ରିକାଳ ରେ ସେ ନଗର ବାହାରକୁ ଚାଲି ଯାଉଥିଲେ ଓ ସାରା ରାତି ଜୀତ ପର୍ବତ ଉପରେ କଟାଉଥିଲେ।
38 ଲୋକମାନେ ମନ୍ଦିରକୁ ଯାଇ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ଉପଦେଶ ଶୁଣିବା ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରତିଦିନ ଅତି ସକାଳୁ ଉଠି ପଡୁଥିଲେ।
1 And he looked up, and saw the rich men casting their gifts into the treasury.
2 And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites.
3 And he said, Of a truth I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all:
4 For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had.
5 And as some spake of the temple, how it was adorned with goodly stones and gifts, he said,
6 As for these things which ye behold, the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
7 And they asked him, saying, Master, but when shall these things be? and what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass?
8 And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.
9 But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by.
10 Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:
11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.
12 But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name’s sake.
13 And it shall turn to you for a testimony.
14 Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer:
15 For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.
16 And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death.
17 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake.
18 But there shall not an hair of your head perish.
19 In your patience possess ye your souls.
20 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.
21 Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.
22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.
23 But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.
24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.
25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
26 Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
29 And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees;
30 When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand.
31 So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.
32 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.
33 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.
35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
37 And in the day time he was teaching in the temple; and at night he went out, and abode in the mount that is called the mount of Olives.
38 And all the people came early in the morning to him in the temple, for to hear him.

1 “अय्यूब, तिमीले वृहत जन्तुलाई माछा पक्रने बल्छीले समात्न सक्छौ? त्यसको जिब्रोमा डोरीले बाँध्न सक्छौ?
Canst thou draw out leviathan with an hook? or his tongue with a cord which thou lettest down?
2 त्यसको नाकबाट तिमी डोरी छिराउन सक्छौ? अथवा बङ्गरामा बल्छी छिराउन सक्छौ?
Canst thou put an hook into his nose? or bore his jaw through with a thorn?
3 के लेबीयथानले तिमीलाई ‘मलाई जान दिनुहोस्’ भनेर बिन्ती गर्नेछ? के उ तिमीसँग नम्र भाषामा बोल्ने छ?
Will he make many supplications unto thee? will he speak soft words unto thee?
4 के लेबीयथानले ‘तिम्रो सेवा सँधै गर्छु’ भनेर समझौता र वाचा खाएको छ?
Will he make a covenant with thee? wilt thou take him for a servant for ever?
5 के तिमी चरा-चुरूङ्गीहरूसँग खेले जस्तो लेबीयथानसँग खेल्न सक्छौ? के तिमी ऊमाथि डोरी लगाउनेछौ ताकि तिम्रो नोकर्नी केटीहरू त्योसँग खेल्न सक्छे?
Wilt thou play with him as with a bird? or wilt thou bind him for thy maidens?
6 के जालहारीले तिमीदेखि लेबीयथान किन्ने कोशिश गर्नेछ? के तिनीहरूले त्यसलाई काटेर टुक्रा-टुक्रा पारेर व्यापारीहरूसित बेच्छन?
Shall the companions make a banquet of him? shall they part him among the merchants?
7 के तिमी लेबीयथानको छाला अथवा टाउको भित्र भालाहरू फ्याँक्न सक्छौ?
Canst thou fill his skin with barbed irons? or his head with fish spears?
8 अय्यूब, यदि तिमीले कहिले लेबीयथान माथि हात राखेकोछौ भने तिमीले फेरि त्यस्तो कहिल्यै गर्ने छैनौ। खाली चिन्ता गर युद्ध बारे जुन हुनेवाला छ।
Lay thine hand upon him, remember the battle, do no more.
9 के तिमीले लेबीयथानलाई पराजित गर्न सक्छु भनेर सोच्दछौ? ठीकै छ, भूल यसलाई। त्यहाँ आशा छैन। खाली त्योतिर हेरी रहँदा तिमी भयभीत हुनेछौ।
Behold, the hope of him is in vain: shall not one be cast down even at the sight of him?
10 कुनै मानिस पनि त्यस्तो वीर छैन् जसले त्यसलाई रिस उठाउँछ। ठिक, मेरो विरूद्ध कुनै मानिस उठ्न सक्तैन्।
None is so fierce that dare stir him up: who then is able to stand before me?
11 म कोहीसँग पनि ऋणी छैन। स्वर्ग मुनी भएका सबै कुराहरू मेरो हुन्।
Who hath prevented me, that I should repay him? whatsoever is under the whole heaven is mine.
12 अय्यूब, म तिमीलाई लेबीयथानको खुट्टाहरू बारे बताउनेछु, उसको शक्ति अनि सुन्दर आकार बारेमा बताउनेछु।
I will not conceal his parts, nor his power, nor his comely proportion.
13 कसैले पनि उसको छाला छेडन सक्तैन। उसको छाला ढाल बराबर छ।
Who can discover the face of his garment? or who can come to him with his double bridle?
14 कसैले पनि लेबीयथानलाई जबरजस्ती गरेर मुख खोल्न सक्तैन। उसको मुखमा भएको दाँतहरूले नै मानिसहरूलाई तर्साउँदछ।
Who can open the doors of his face? his teeth are terrible round about.
15 त्यसको ढाड बलियो गरी जोडिएका ढालहरू झैं बलियो छ।
His scales are his pride, shut up together as with a close seal.
16 ती ढालहरू एकमाथि अर्को गर्दै यस्तो टाँसिएका छन् कि त्यसबाट हावासम्म छिर्न सक्तैन।
One is so near to another, that no air can come between them.
17 ढालहरू जोडिएका छन् तिनीहरू एकसाथ कस्सिएर समिटिएका छन् कि तिनीहरू तानिएर चुँडिन सक्तैनन्।
They are joined one to another, they stick together, that they cannot be sundered.
18 जब लेबीयथानले हाच्छियूँ काढ्छ यो आगो दन्केको ज्वाला जस्तो हुन्छ। उसको आँखाहरू प्रातःकालको ज्योति जस्तो हुन्छन।
By his neesings a light doth shine, and his eyes are like the eyelids of the morning.
19 आगोको अगुल्टोहरू बलेको जस्तै ज्वाला उसको मुखबाट बाहिर आउँदछ।
Out of his mouth go burning lamps, and sparks of fire leap out.
20 पानी उम्लिरहेको भाँडाबाट तातो वाफहरू निस्के जस्तो लेबीयथानको नाकबाट धुवाँ निस्कन्छ।
Out of his nostrils goeth smoke, as out of a seething pot or caldron.
21 अनि आगोको झिल्काहरू मुखबाट उछिटिन्छ लेबीयथानको सासले कोईला जलाउँदछ।
His breath kindleth coals, and a flame goeth out of his mouth.
22 लेबीयथानको घिच्रो साह्रै बलियो हुन्छ, विपदहरू त्यो देखि डराएर भाग्दछन्।
In his neck remaineth strength, and sorrow is turned into joy before him.
23 त्यसको छालामा कतै पनि नरम भाग हुँदैन त्यो फलाम जस्तो कडा हुन्छ।
The flakes of his flesh are joined together: they are firm in themselves; they cannot be moved.
24 लेबीयथानको मुटु ढुङ्गा जस्तो हुन्छ। त्यससँग डर भनेको रत्तिभर हुँदैन। यो गह्रुँ पिंध्ने जाँतोको तल्लोपट्टिको ढुङ्गा जस्तो हुन्छ।
His heart is as firm as a stone; yea, as hard as a piece of the nether millstone.
25 जब लेबीयथान उठ्छ, बलिष्ठ मानिसहरू पनि डराउँदछन्। जब लेबीयथानले पुच्छर हल्लाउँदछ तिनीहरू भाग्छन।
When he raiseth up himself, the mighty are afraid: by reason of breakings they purify themselves.
26 तरवार, भाला अनि झीरहरूले लेबीयथानलाई हिर्काइन्छ तर ती सबै उछिट्टिएर फर्किन्छन त्यस्ता हतियारहरूले त्यसलाई कतै आघात पुर्याउन सक्तैन।
The sword of him that layeth at him cannot hold: the spear, the dart, nor the habergeon.
27 लेबीयथानले पराल टुक्राए जस्तै सहजै फलाम भाँचिदिन्छ। त्यसले सडेको काठ जस्तै पित्तल भाँच्छ।
He esteemeth iron as straw, and brass as rotten wood.
28 काँडले लेबीयथानलाई भगाउन सक्तैन। ढुङ्गाहरु पनि उसका निम्ति पराल झैं हुन्छन्।
The arrow cannot make him flee: slingstones are turned with him into stubble.
29 जब काठको मुँग्रोले त्यसलाई हिर्काउछ त्यो यसलाई परालले छोए जस्तो अनुभव गर्छ त्यो हाँस्दछ जब मानिसहरूले त्यसमाथि भालाहरू बर्षाउँदछन्।
Darts are counted as stubble: he laugheth at the shaking of a spear.
30 लेबीयथानको भुँडीको छाला फुटेका माटाका भाँडाहरूको तीखो टुक्राहरू जस्ता हुन्छन। उसले हलोले झैं जमीन फुटाउँछ।
Sharp stones are under him: he spreadeth sharp pointed things upon the mire.
31 लेबीयथानले समुद्रको पानीलाई भाँडा उम्लिरहेको पानी झैं घोल्छ। त्यसले पानीका फोका भाँडामा उम्लिएको तेल जस्तै बनाउँदछ।
He maketh the deep to boil like a pot: he maketh the sea like a pot of ointment.
32 जब लेबीयथान पौरिन्छ त्यसले आफू पछाडि बाटो छाडदछ। त्यसले पानीलाई घोल्छ अनि आफू पछाडी सेतो फीज छोडछ।
He maketh a path to shine after him; one would think the deep to be hoary.
33 लेबीयथान जस्तो जनावर पृथ्वीमा छैन त्यो भयरहित बनाइएको प्राणी हो।
Upon earth there is not his like, who is made without fear.
34 लेबीयथानले घमण्डी पशुहरूलाई तल हेर्दछ। त्यो सारा जङ्गली जनावरहरू माथि राज गर्ने राजा हो। अनि म, परमेश्वरले, लेबीयथान सृजना गरें।”
He beholdeth all high things: he is a king over all the children of pride.
