ଏହାପରେ ୟୋଯାଶ ତାଙ୍କ ଚତକ୍ସ୍ଟଃପାଶର୍‌ବ ରେ ଘରେି ରହିଥିବା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ କ'ଣ ବାଲ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ପ୍ରତିରକ୍ଷା କରିବ? ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ରକ୍ଷା କରିବ କି? ୟିଏ ବାଲ୍ ସକାେଶ ୟକ୍ସ୍ଟକ୍ତି କଲ, ସକାଳେ ତାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ମୃତକ୍ସ୍ଟ୍ଯ ଦଣ୍ତ ଦିଆୟିବ। ଯଦି ବାଲ୍ ଦବେତା ଅଟେ, ସେ ନିଜେ ତାଙ୍କର ପ୍ରତିରକ୍ଷା କରୁ, ୟିଏ ତା'ର ୟଜ୍ଞବଦେୀ ଭାଙ୍ଗି ଅଛି।

ஆனால் விசுவாசத்தினாலே நீதிமானாவதைப் பற்றி வேதவாக்கியம், “யார் மோட்சத்துக்குப் போகக் கூடியவன் என்று நீ உனக்குள்ளே சொல்லாதே.” (இதற்கு “எவனொருவன் மோட்சத்துக்குப் போய் கிறிஸ்துவை பூமிக்கு அழைத்து வரக்கூடியவன்?” என்று பொருள்)

❮6-7❯ஆனால், நம்பிக்கை வழியாய்க் கடவுளுக்கு ஏற்புடையவராதல் பற்றி, கிறிஸ்துவைக் கீழே கொண்டு வருமாறு, ⁽“விண்ணகத்திற்குப் போகிறவர் யார்?”⁾ என்றும், இறந்த கிறிஸ்துவை உயிர்த்தெழச் செய்து கொண்டு வருமாறு ⁽“கடல் கடந்து செல்வோர் யார்?’␢ என்றும் உனக்குள்ளே␢ சொல்லிக் கொள்ளவேண்டாம்”⁾ என்று மறைநூலில் எழுதியுள்ளதன்றோ!
