ଲୋକମାନେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ବିଷୟ ରେ ଏହି କଥାମାନ କହୁଥିବାର ଫାରୂଶୀମାନେ ଶୁଣିଲେ। ତେଣୁ ମୁଖ୍ଯ ଯାଜକମାନେ ଓ ଫାରୂଶୀମାନେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ବନ୍ଦୀ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ମନ୍ଦିର ରେ କେତକେ ସୈନ୍ଯଙ୍କୁ ପଠାଇଲେ।
