ଲାଜାର ନାମ ରେ ଜଣେ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତି ଅସୁସ୍ଥ ଥିଲେ। ସେ ବେଥନିଆ ନଗର ରେ ରହୁଥିଲେ। ସଠାେରେ ମରିୟମ ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଭଉଣୀ ମାର୍ଥା ବାସ ମଧ୍ଯ କରୁଥିଲେ।
