Joel 3:8
ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ର କନ୍ଯାମାନଙ୍କୁ ଯିହୁଦାର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ବିକ୍ରୀ କରିବା। ତେଣୁ ସମାନେେ ସହେି ସନ୍ତାନମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦୂର ଦେଶୀଯ ଶୀବାଯୀଯ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ବିକ୍ରୀ କରିବେ, କାରଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହା କହିଛନ୍ତି।

ଶିବାଯୀଯମାନେ ଆକ୍ରମଣ କଲେ ଏବଂ ଆମ୍ଭଠାରୁ ସମସ୍ତ ପଶୁମାନଙ୍କୁ ନଇଗେଲେ। ସମାନେେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଦାସମାନଙ୍କୁ ମଧ୍ଯ ଖଡ୍ଗ ରେ ହତ୍ଯା କଲେ। ମୁଁ ହେଉଛି କବଳେ ଏକମାତ୍ର ୟିଏ ରକ୍ଷା ପାଇଛି ଏବଂ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଏ ବିଷଯ ରେ କହିବାକୁ।

ଜଣେ ଲୋକ କ'ଣ ହଜାରେ ଲୋକଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଗୋଡ଼ାଇ ପାରିବ? ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟଇଜଣ ଲୋକ କ'ଣ ଦଶହଜାର ଲୋକଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଘଉଡାଇ ଦଇପୋରିବେ? ତାହା ଘଟିବ କବଳେ ଯଦି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ତାଙ୍କର ଶତୃମାନଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତ ରେ ସମର୍ପଣ କରନ୍ତି।

ପୁଣି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ଶିବା ଦେଶରୁ ଧୂପ ଓ ଦୂର ଦେଶରୁ ସୁଗନ୍ଧି ବତେ ଆଣିବାର ଫଳ କଅଣ ? ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ହାମବେଳି ସବୁ ଗ୍ରହଣୀଯ ନୁହେଁ କିଅବା ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ବଳିଦାନସବୁ ଆମ୍ଭର ତୁଷ୍ଟିଜନକ ନୁହେଁ।
