Job 9
1 ତା'ପରେ ଆୟୁବ ବିଲଦଦକୁ ଉତ୍ତର ଦଲୋ।
2 ହଁ, ଏହା ସତ୍ଯ ବୋଲି ମୁଁ ଜାଣେ ଯାହା ତୁମ୍ଭେ କହୁଛ। ଜଣେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ୟୁକ୍ତି ରେ କିପରି ଜିତି ପାରିବ ?
3 ଜଣେ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତି ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ସହିତ ବାଦାନୁବାଦ କରିପାରିବ ନାହିଁ। ପରମେଶ୍ବର ତାକୁ 1000 ପ୍ରଶ୍ନ କରିପାରନ୍ତି ସେ କିନ୍ତୁ ଗୋଟିକର ଉତ୍ତର ମଧ୍ଯ ଦଇପୋରିବ ନାହିଁ।
4 ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଅତି ବିଜ୍ଞ ଓ ଶକ୍ତିଶାଳୀ ଅଟନ୍ତି। କହେି ତାଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ଛିଡ଼ା ହାଇେ କବେେ ଅକ୍ଷତ ରହିପାରିବ ନାହିଁ।
5 ପରମେଶ୍ବର କୋରଧ ହେଲେ ପର୍ବତକୁ ମଧ୍ଯ ତା' ନିଜ ସ୍ଥାନରୁ ହଟାଇ ଦଇେ ପାରନ୍ତି। ଏବଂ ସହେି ପର୍ବତ ମଧ୍ଯ ନିଜେ ଜାଣିପା ରେ ନାହିଁ।
6 ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଇଚ୍ଛାକଲେ ଭୂମିକମ୍ପ ସୃଷ୍ଟି କରି ପୃଥିବୀକୁ ହଲାଇ ପାରନ୍ତି। ପରମେଶ୍ବର ପୃଥିବୀର ମୂଳଦୁଆ ଦୋହଲାଇ ଦଇେ ପାରନ୍ତି।
7 ପରମେଶ୍ବର ସୂର୍ୟ୍ଯକୁ କହି ତା'ର ଉଦଯ ହବୋକୁ ବନ୍ଦ କରିଦଇେ ପାରନ୍ତି। ସେ ତାରାଗଣକୁ ଚମକିବା ବନ୍ଦ କରି ଦଇପୋରନ୍ତି।
8 ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଏକାକୀ ଆକାଶକୁ ବିସ୍ତାର କରିଛନ୍ତି। ପରମେଶ୍ବର ସମୁଦ୍ରର ତରଙ୍ଗ ଉପରେ ଚାଲନ୍ତି।
9 ପରମେଶ୍ବର ନକ୍ଷତ୍ରପୁଞ୍ଜ, ତାରାଗଣ ଓ ସପ୍ତର୍ଷିମଣ୍ଡଳ ନିର୍ମାଣ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ସେ ଗ୍ରହ ନିର୍ମାଣ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ଯାହା ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ଆକାଶକୁ ପାରକରେ।
10 ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଅନକେ ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ୟ୍ଯଜନକ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରନ୍ତି, ଯାହା ଲୋକେ ବୁଝି ପାରନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ। ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ୟ୍ଯ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯର କୌଣସି ଶଷେ ନାହିଁ।
11 ପରମେଶ୍ବର ମାେ ନିକଟରେ ଗମନ କରନ୍ତି। କିନ୍ତୁ ମୁଁ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଦେଖେ ନାହିଁ। ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଯେତବେେଳେ ମାେ ନିକଟ ଦଇେ ୟାଆନ୍ତି। ମୁଁ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଚିହ୍ନିପା ରେ ନାହିଁ।
12 ଯଦି ପରମେଶ୍ବର କାହାଠାରୁ କିଛି ଛଡ଼ାଇ ନିଅନ୍ତି କିଏ ତାଙ୍କୁ ମନାକରି ପାରିବ। କିଏ ତାଙ୍କୁ କହି ପାରିବ, 'ତୁମ୍ଭେ କ'ଣ କରୁଛ?'
13 ପରମେଶ୍ବର ତାଙ୍କ କୋର୍ଧ ଧରିରଖି ପାରିବେ ନାହିଁ। ରାହବର ସାହାୟ୍ଯକାରୀମାନେ ମଧ୍ଯ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଭୟ କରନ୍ତି।
14 ତେଣୁ ମୁଁ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ସହିତ ୟୁକ୍ତି କରିପାରିବି ନାହିଁ ଏବଂ ତାଙ୍କୁ କ'ଣ କହିବି ତାହା ମଧ୍ଯ ଜାଣି ନାହିଁ।
15 ମୁଁ ନିରୀହ, କିନ୍ତୁ ମୁଁ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଉତ୍ତର ଦଇପୋରିବି ନାହିଁ। ମୁଁ ମାରେବିଚାରକର୍ତ୍ତାଙ୍କୁ ଦୟା ପାଇଁ ଭିକ୍ଷା କରିପା ରେ।
16 ମୁଁ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଯଦି ଡାକେ ଏବଂ ସେ ମାେତେ ଉତ୍ତର ଦିଅନ୍ତି, ମୁଁ ତଥାପି ବିଶ୍ବାସ କରେ ନାହିଁ ଯେ ସେ ମାରେ କଥା ଶୁଣିବେ।
17 ପରମେଶ୍ବର ମାେତେ ଚକଟି ଦବୋ ପାଇଁ ଝଡ଼ ପଠାଇବେ, କୌଣସି କାରଣ ନ ଥାଇ ସେ ମାେତେ ଅଧିକ ଆଘାତ କରିବେ।
18 ପରମେଶ୍ବର ମାେତେ ପୁନର୍ବାର ନିଶ୍ବାସ ନବୋକୁ ଦବେେ ନାହିଁ, କିନ୍ତୁ ଅଧିକ କଷ୍ଟ ଦବେେ।
19 ମୁଁ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ପରାସ୍ତ କରିପାରିବି ନାହିଁ। ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଅତ୍ଯନ୍ତ ପରାକ୍ରମଶାଳୀ, ମୁଁ ତାଙ୍କୁ ନ୍ଯାଯାଳଯକୁ ନଇେ ପାରିବି ନାହିଁ। ଏବଂ ମାେ ପ୍ରତି ସଦଯ ହବୋକୁ ବାଧ୍ଯ କରିପାରିବି ନାହିଁ। କିଏ ତାଙ୍କୁ ନ୍ଯାଯାଳଯକୁ ଆସିବାକୁ ବାଧ୍ଯ କରିପାରିବ।
20 ମୁଁ ନିରୀହ ହେଲ ହେଁ ମାେ ନିଜ କଥା ମାେତେ ଦୋଷୀ ସାବ୍ଯସ୍ତ କରିବ। ମୁଁ ନିର୍ଦ୍ ଦୋଷ ଏବଂ ମୁଁ ଯାହା କହୁଛି ତାହା ମାେତେ ଦୋଷୀ ସାବ୍ଯସ୍ତ କରୁଛି।
21 ମୁଁ ନିରୀହ, କିନ୍ତୁ କ'ଣ ଚିନ୍ତା କରିବାକୁ ପଡିବ ମୁଁ ଜାଣେ ନାହିଁ। ମାେ ଜୀବନକୁ ମୁଁ ଘୃଣା କରେ।
22 ମୁଁ ନିଜକୁ କ ହେ, 'ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ସମାନ ଘଟଣା ଘଟେ। ନିରୀହ ଲୋକ ମଧ୍ଯ ଦୋଷୀ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତିଭଳି ମରନ୍ତି। ପରମେଶ୍ବର ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କୁ ସଂହାର କରନ୍ତି।'
23 ଯଦି ହଠାତ୍ କିଛି ଭୟଙ୍କର ଘଟଣା ଘଟେ ଓ ଜଣେ ନିରୀହ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତି ପ୍ରାଣ ହରାଏ, ପରମେଶ୍ବର କ'ଣ ନିର୍ଦ୍ ଦୋଷର ମୃତ୍ଯୁ ରେ କବଳେ ହସି ପାରିବେ ?
24 ଯେତବେେଳେ ଜଣେ ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତି କୌଣସି ଜାଗା ଅଧିକାର କରେ, ପରମେଶ୍ବର ସହେି ନେତାଙ୍କୁ ଗତି ରୋଧ କରନ୍ତି, ଯାହାସବୁ ଘଟୁଛି ତାକୁ ଦେଖି ? ଯଦି ପରମେଶ୍ବର ତାହା ନ କରନ୍ତି, ତବେେ କିଏ ?
25 ମାରେ ଦିନ ସବୁ ଶୀଘ୍ର ଗଡ଼ି ଚାଲିଛି ଜଣେ ଦୌଡ଼ାଳି ଭଳି। ମାରେ ଦିନ ସବୁ ଗଡ଼ି ଚାଲିଛି। ମାେ ଜୀବନ ରେ କୌଣସି ସୁଖ ନାହିଁ।
26 ମାରେ ଦିନ ସବୁ ଗଡ଼ି ଯାଉଛି ବଗଶାେଳୀ ନଳତୃଣ ନିର୍ମିତ ଜାହାଜ ଭଳି ଓ ଶିକାର ଉପରେ ଝାମ୍ପ ଦବୋକୁ ଉଦ୍ଯତ ଉତ୍କ୍ରୋଶ ପକ୍ଷୀଭଳି।
27 ମୁଁ ଯଦି କ ହେ, 'ମୁଁ ଅଭିଯୋଗ କରିବି ନାହିଁ, ମୁଁ ମାରେ ୟନ୍ତ୍ରଣା ଭୁଲି ୟିବି। ମାେ ମୁହଁ ରେ ହସ ଫୁଟାଇବି।'
28 ଏହା ପ୍ରକୃତ ରେ କିଛି ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତନ ଘଟାଏ ନାହିଁ, ସହେି ୟନ୍ତ୍ରଣା ଏବେ ବି ମାେତେ ଭୟଭୀତ କରେ।
29 ମୁଁ ଦୋଷୀ ସାବ୍ଯସ୍ତ ହାଇେସାରିଛି, ତେଣୁ କାହିଁ ବୃଥା ପରିଶ୍ରମ କରିବି। ତେଣୁ ମୁଁ କହୁଛି, 'ସବୁକିଛି ଭୁଲିୟାଅ।'
30 ଯଦି ମୁଁ ବରଫ ରେ ନିଜକୁ ଧୌତ କରେ। ମୁଁ ହାତଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ ସାବୁନ ରେ ଧୋଇ ସଫା କରେ।
31 ତଥାପି ପରମେଶ୍ବର ମାେତେ ଖସଡ଼ା ଗାତ ମଧ୍ଯକୁ ଠଲେି ଦବେେ। ତା'ପରେ ମାରେ ନିଜର ବସ୍ତୁ ମାେତେ ଘୃଣା କରିବ।
32 ପରମେଶ୍ବର ମାେଭଳି ମନୁଷ୍ଯ ନୁହନ୍ତି ଯେ ମୁଁ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଉତ୍ତର ଦବେି। ଆମ୍ଭର କବେେ ଗୋଟିଏ ନ୍ଯାଯାଳଯ ରେ ଏକତ୍ର ପରସ୍ପର ସାକ୍ଷାତ ହାଇପୋରିବ ନାହିଁ।
33 ମୁଁ ଚା ହେଁ କିଏ ମଧ୍ଯସ୍ଥ ହୁଅନ୍ତା, ୟିଏ ଦୁଇପକ୍ଷର କଥା ଶୁଣି ଏବଂ ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ଏକତ୍ର ଆଣନ୍ତା, କିନ୍ତୁ କହେି ନାହିଁ।
34 ମୁଁ ଚା ହେଁ କହେି ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଦଣ୍ଡ ଦବୋର ବାଡ଼ିଟିକୁ ତାଙ୍କଠାରୁ ନଇେ ୟାଆନ୍ତା ? ତବେେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ମାେତେ ଭୟଭୀତ କରନ୍ତେ ନାହିଁ।
35 ତବେେ ମୁଁ କହନ୍ତି, ଯାହା ମୁଁ କହିବାକୁ ଚା ହେଁ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ଭୟ ନ କରି। କିନ୍ତୁ ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ତାହା ମୁଁ କହିପାରିବି ନାହିଁ।
1 Then Job answered and said,
2 I know it is so of a truth: but how should man be just with God?
3 If he will contend with him, he cannot answer him one of a thousand.
4 He is wise in heart, and mighty in strength: who hath hardened himself against him, and hath prospered?
5 Which removeth the mountains, and they know not: which overturneth them in his anger.
6 Which shaketh the earth out of her place, and the pillars thereof tremble.
7 Which commandeth the sun, and it riseth not; and sealeth up the stars.
8 Which alone spreadeth out the heavens, and treadeth upon the waves of the sea.
9 Which maketh Arcturus, Orion, and Pleiades, and the chambers of the south.
10 Which doeth great things past finding out; yea, and wonders without number.
11 Lo, he goeth by me, and I see him not: he passeth on also, but I perceive him not.
12 Behold, he taketh away, who can hinder him? who will say unto him, What doest thou?
13 If God will not withdraw his anger, the proud helpers do stoop under him.
14 How much less shall I answer him, and choose out my words to reason with him?
15 Whom, though I were righteous, yet would I not answer, but I would make supplication to my judge.
16 If I had called, and he had answered me; yet would I not believe that he had hearkened unto my voice.
17 For he breaketh me with a tempest, and multiplieth my wounds without cause.
18 He will not suffer me to take my breath, but filleth me with bitterness.
19 If I speak of strength, lo, he is strong: and if of judgment, who shall set me a time to plead?
20 If I justify myself, mine own mouth shall condemn me: if I say, I am perfect, it shall also prove me perverse.
21 Though I were perfect, yet would I not know my soul: I would despise my life.
22 This is one thing, therefore I said it, He destroyeth the perfect and the wicked.
23 If the scourge slay suddenly, he will laugh at the trial of the innocent.
24 The earth is given into the hand of the wicked: he covereth the faces of the judges thereof; if not, where, and who is he?
25 Now my days are swifter than a post: they flee away, they see no good.
26 They are passed away as the swift ships: as the eagle that hasteth to the prey.
27 If I say, I will forget my complaint, I will leave off my heaviness, and comfort myself:
28 I am afraid of all my sorrows, I know that thou wilt not hold me innocent.
29 If I be wicked, why then labour I in vain?
30 If I wash myself with snow water, and make my hands never so clean;
31 Yet shalt thou plunge me in the ditch, and mine own clothes shall abhor me.
32 For he is not a man, as I am, that I should answer him, and we should come together in judgment.
33 Neither is there any daysman betwixt us, that might lay his hand upon us both.
34 Let him take his rod away from me, and let not his fear terrify me:
35 Then would I speak, and not fear him; but it is not so with me.
Leviticus 2 in Tamil and English
1 ஒருவன் போஜனபலியாகிய காணிக்கையைக் கர்த்தருக்குச் செலுத்தவேண்டுமானால், அவன் காணிக்கை மெல்லிய மாவாயிருப்பதாக; அவன் அதின்மேல் எண்ணெய் வார்த்து, அதின்மேல் தூபவர்க்கம் போட்டு,
And when any will offer a meat offering unto the Lord, his offering shall be of fine flour; and he shall pour oil upon it, and put frankincense thereon:
2 அதை ஆரோனின் குமாரராகிய ஆசாரியர்களிடத்தில் கொண்டுவருவானாக; அப்பொழுது ஆசாரியன் அந்த மாவிலும் எண்ணெயிலும் ஒரு கைப்பிடி நிறைய தூபவர்க்கம் எல்லாவற்றோடும் எடுத்து, அதைப் பலிபீடத்தின்மேல் ஞாபகக்குறியாகத் தகனிக்கக்கடவன்; அது கர்த்தருக்குச் சுகந்த வாசனையான தகனபலி.
And he shall bring it to Aaron’s sons the priests: and he shall take thereout his handful of the flour thereof, and of the oil thereof, with all the frankincense thereof; and the priest shall burn the memorial of it upon the altar, to be an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the Lord:
3 அந்தப் போஜனபலியில் மீதியாயிருப்பது ஆரோனையும் அவன் குமாரரையும் சேரும்; கர்த்தருக்கு இடும் தகனபலிகளில் இது மகா பரிசுத்தமானது.
And the remnant of the meat offering shall be Aaron’s and his sons’: it is a thing most holy of the offerings of the Lord made by fire.
4 நீ படைப்பது அடுப்பில் பாகம்பண்ணப்பட்ட போஜனபலியானால், அது எண்ணெயிலே பிசைந்த மெல்லிய மாவினால் செய்த புளிப்பில்லா அதிரசங்களாயாவது, எண்ணெய் பூசப்பட்ட புளிப்பில்லா அடைகளாயாவது இருப்பதாக.
And if thou bring an oblation of a meat offering baken in the oven, it shall be unleavened cakes of fine flour mingled with oil, or unleavened wafers anointed with oil.
5 நீ படைப்பது தட்டையான சட்டியில் பாகம்பண்ணப்பட்ட போஜனபலியானால், அது எண்ணெயிலே பிசைந்த புளிப்பில்லா மெல்லிய மாவினால் செய்யப்பட்டதாயிருப்பதாக.
And if thy oblation be a meat offering baken in a pan, it shall be of fine flour unleavened, mingled with oil.
6 அதைத் துண்டு துண்டாகப் பிட்டு, அதின்மேல் எண்ணெய் வார்ப்பாயாக; இது ஒரு போஜனபலி.
Thou shalt part it in pieces, and pour oil thereon: it is a meat offering.
7 நீ படைப்பது பொரிக்குஞ் சட்டியில் பாகம்பண்ணப்பட்ட போஜனபலியானால், அது எண்ணெயிலே பிசைந்த மெல்லிய மாவினால் செய்யப்படுவதாக.
And if thy oblation be a meat offering baken in the fryingpan, it shall be made of fine flour with oil.
8 இப்படிச் செய்யப்பட்ட போஜனபலியைக் கர்த்தருக்குச் செலுத்துவாயாக; அது ஆசாரியனிடத்தில் கொண்டுவரப்படும்போது, அவன் அதைப் பலிபீடத்தண்டையில் கொண்டுவந்து,
And thou shalt bring the meat offering that is made of these things unto the Lord: and when it is presented unto the priest, he shall bring it unto the altar.

And the priest shall take from the meat offering a memorial thereof, and shall burn it upon the altar: it is an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the Lord.
10 இந்தப் போஜனபலியில் மீதியானது ஆரோனையும் அவன் குமாரரையும் சேரும்; கர்த்தருக்கு இடும் தகனங்களில் இது மகா பரிசுத்தமானது.
And that which is left of the meat offering shall be Aaron’s and his sons’: it is a thing most holy of the offerings of the Lord made by fire.
11 நீங்கள் கர்த்தருக்குச் செலுத்தும் எந்த போஜனபலியும் புளித்தமாவினால் செய்யப்படாதிருப்பதாக; புளித்தமாவுள்ளதொன்றையும் தேனுள்ளதொன்றையும் கர்த்தருக்குத் தகனபலியாகத் தகனிக்கவேண்டாம்.
No meat offering, which ye shall bring unto the Lord, shall be made with leaven: for ye shall burn no leaven, nor any honey, in any offering of the Lord made by fire.
12 முதற்கனிகளைக் காணிக்கையாகக் கொண்டுவந்து, அவைகளைக் கர்த்தருக்குச் செலுத்தலாம்; ஆனாலும், பலிபீடத்தின்மேல் அவைகள் சுகந்த வாசனையாகத் தகனிக்கப்படலாகாது.
As for the oblation of the firstfruits, ye shall offer them unto the Lord: but they shall not be burnt on the altar for a sweet savour.
13 நீ படைக்கிற எந்த போஜனபலியும் உப்பினால் சாரமாக்கப்படுவதாக; உன் தேவனின் உடன்படிக்கையின் உப்பை உன் போஜனபலியிலே குறைவிடாமல், நீ படைப்பது எல்லாவற்றோடும் உப்பையும் படைப்பாயாக.
And every oblation of thy meat offering shalt thou season with salt; neither shalt thou suffer the salt of the covenant of thy God to be lacking from thy meat offering: with all thine offerings thou shalt offer salt.
14 முதற்பலன்களை போஜனபலியாக நீ கர்த்தருக்குச் செலுத்தவந்தால், நிறைந்த பச்சையான கதிர்களை நெருப்பிலே வாட்டி உதிர்த்து, அதை உன் முதற்பலனின் போஜனபலியாக கொண்டுவரக்கடவாய்.
And if thou offer a meat offering of thy firstfruits unto the Lord, thou shalt offer for the meat offering of thy firstfruits green ears of corn dried by the fire, even corn beaten out of full ears.
15 அதின்மேல் எண்ணெய் வார்த்து, அதின்மேல் தூபவர்க்கத்தைப் போடுவாயாக; இது ஒரு போஜனபலி.
And thou shalt put oil upon it, and lay frankincense thereon: it is a meat offering.
16 பின்பு ஆசாரியன், உதிர்த்த தானியத்திலும் எண்ணெயிலும் எடுத்து, ஞாபகக் குறியான பங்கை அதின் தூபவர்க்கம் எல்லாவற்றோடுங்கூடத் தகனிக்கக்கடவன்; இது கர்த்தருக்கு இடும் தகனபலி.
And the priest shall burn the memorial of it, part of the beaten corn thereof, and part of the oil thereof, with all the frankincense thereof: it is an offering made by fire unto the Lord.
