Jeremiah 48:2
ମାୟୋବ ପୁନର୍ବାର ପ୍ରଶଂସିତ ହବେ ନାହିଁ। ହିଶବୋନ ରେ ଲୋକମାନେ ତାହାର ବିନାଶର ଯୋଜନା କରିବେ। 'ଆସ, ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଏହାକୁ ଧ୍ବଂସ କରିବା ଏବଂ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀରୁ ଏହାକୁ ସମାପ୍ତ କରିଦବୋ।' ହେ ମଦମନୋ ! ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମଧ୍ଯ ନୀରବ ହବେ, କାରଣ ଖଡ୍ଗ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପଶ୍ଚାତଗାମୀ ହବେ।
