Deuteronomy 28:39
ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାକ୍ଷେତ୍ର ରୋପି ପ୍ରସ୍ତକ୍ସ୍ଟତ କରିବ, ମାତ୍ର ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାରସ ପାନ କରିବାକୁ କି ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାଫଳ ସଂଗ୍ରହ କରିବାକୁ ପାଇବ ନାହିଁ। କାରଣ ପୋକମାନେ ତାହା ଖାଇ ପକାଇବେ।

ଯାହା ଶୂକ କୀଟ ଛାଡିଛନ୍ତି ତାକୁ ପଙ୍ଗପାଳ ଖାଇଛନ୍ତି। ଯାହା ପଙ୍ଗପାଳ ଛାଡିଛନ୍ତି ତାକୁ ପତଙ୍ଗ ଶଷେ କରିଛନ୍ତି ଏବଂ ଯାହା ପତଙ୍ଗ ଛାଡିଛନ୍ତି ତାକୁ ଘୁଘୁର୍ରିଯା ନଷ୍ଟ କରିଛନ୍ତି।

ତାହା ଏକ ଅନ୍ଧାକାର ଓ ତମସାଚ୍ଛାନ୍ନ ଦିନ, ତାହା ନିବିଡ ଅନ୍ଧକାର ଓ ମଘାେଛନ୍ନ ଦିନ ହବେ। ସୂର୍ େଯ୍ଯାଦଯ ରେ ପର୍ବତ ଉପ ରେ ସୈନ୍ଯମାନେ ଘରେି ୟାଇଥିବାର ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଦେଖିବ। ସମାନେେ ମହାନ୍ ଶକ୍ତିଶାଳୀ ସୈନ୍ଯବାହିନୀ ହବେେ। ପୂର୍ବରୁ ଏପରି କବେେ ହାଇନୋହିଁ, ଆଉ ମଧ୍ଯ ଏହା ପୁନର୍ବାର କବେେ ହବେ ନାହିଁ।

ପରଦିନ ପ୍ରଭାତ ରେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ସହେି ଗଛକୁ ଖାଇଦବୋକୁ ଗୋଟିଏ କୀଟ ପଠାଇଲେ। ସହେି କୀଟ ଗଛଟିକୁ ଖାଇଲା ଓ ଗଛ ମରିଗଲା।
