ପିତର ଏହିକଥା କହିବା ସମୟରେ ସୁସମାଚ଼ାର ଶୁଣୁଥିବା ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ପବିତ୍ର ଆତ୍ମା ଓହ୍ଲାଇ ଆସିଲେ।

ସେତବେେଳେ ହଠାତ୍ ଆକାଶରୁ ଗୋଟିଏ ଶବ୍ଦ ଶୁଣାଗଲା। ଏହି ଶବ୍ଦ ଗୋଟିଏ ଭୀଷଣ ଝଡ଼ ବହିବା ପରି ଥିଲା। ଶବ୍ଦଟି ସମାନେେ ଯେଉଁ ଘର ଭିତ ରେ ବସିଥିଲେ, ସହେି ଘରର ଚ଼ାରିଆଡ଼େ ବ୍ଯାପି ଗଲା।

ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା ସରିବା ପରେ ଯେଉଁ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା ଘ ରେ, ସମସ୍ତେ ଏକାଠି ହାଇେଥିଲେ, ସହେି ଘର କମ୍ପି ଉଠିଲା। ସମାନେେ ସମସ୍ତେ ପବିତ୍ର ଆତ୍ମା ରେ ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହାଇଗେଲେ ଓ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କର ବାର୍ତ୍ତା ସାହସର ସହିତ କରିବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲେ।

ପିତର ଓ ଯୋହନ ସଠାେରେ ପହଞ୍ଚି ଶମିରୋଣ ବାସିନ୍ଦାମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କଲେ ଯେପରିକି ସମାନେେ ପବିତ୍ର ଆତ୍ମାଙ୍କୁ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରି ପାରିବେ।
