Genesis 22:2
ଏହାପରେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର କହିଲେ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ପୁତ୍ରକୁ ମାରେିଯାକୁ ନିଅ। ମାରେିଯା ରେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଏକ ମାତ୍ର ସ୍ନହରେ ପୁତ୍ର ଇସ୍ହାକକୁ ମାେ ନିମନ୍ତେ ହାମେର୍ଥେ ବଳିଦାନ କର। ମୁଁ ଯେଉଁ ପର୍ବତକୁ କହିବି ସହେି ପର୍ବତକୁ ନଇେ ସଠାେରେ ହାମବେଳି କର।

ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଅବ୍ରହାମଙ୍କୁ ପରୀକ୍ଷା କରିଥିଲେ। ଅବ୍ରହାମଙ୍କୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବର କହିଥିଲେ ଯେ, ଇସ୍ହାକଙ୍କୁ ବଳିରୂପେ ସମର୍ପିତ କରିବ। ଅବ୍ରହାମଙ୍କ ବିଶ୍ବାସ ଥିବାରୁ ସେ ତାହା ମାନିଲେ। ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଅବ୍ରହାମ ପୂର୍ବରୁ ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା ପାଇଥିଲେ।

ଏହିପରି ଭାବରେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ତାହାଙ୍କ ପ୍ ରମେ ଦଖାଇେଛନ୍ତି। ସେ ତାହାଙ୍କର ଏକମାତ୍ର ପୁତ୍ରକୁ ଏ ଜଗତକୁ ପଠାଇଛନ୍ତି। ଯେପରି ଆମ୍ଭେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ମାଧ୍ଯମ ରେ ଜୀବନ ପାଇପାରିବା।
John 3:16
ହଁ, ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଏ ପୃଥିବୀକୁ ଏତେ ପ୍ ରମେ କଲେ ଯେ ସେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଏକମାତ୍ର ପୁତ୍ରଙ୍କୁ ଦାନ କଲେ। ପରମେଶ୍ବର ତାହାଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ରଙ୍କୁ ଦାନ କଲେ ଯେପରି ତାହାଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ରଙ୍କୁ ବିଶ୍ବାସ କରୁଥିବା ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତି, ବିନାଶ ହବେେ ନାହିଁ, କିନ୍ତୁ ଅନନ୍ତ ଜୀବନ ପାଇବେ।

ୟିରୁଶାଲମର ମାରେିଯା ପର୍ବତ ଉପରେ ଶଲୋମନ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ମନ୍ଦିରର ନିର୍ମାଣ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ ଆରମ୍ଭ କଲେ। ଏହି ମାରେିଯା ପର୍ବତ ଉପରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଶଲୋମନଙ୍କ ବାପା ଦାଉଦଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ଆବିର୍ଭାବ ହାଇେଥିଲେ। ଦାଉଦ ଯେଉଁ ସ୍ଥାନ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କରିଥିଲେ, ଶଲୋମନ ସହେି ସ୍ଥାନ ଉପରେ ମନ୍ଦିର ନିର୍ମାଣ କଲେ। ସହେି ସ୍ଥାନଟି ୟିବୂଷୀଯ ଅରୁଣାହଃ ଗହମ ଦଳନ ସ୍ଥାନ ଥିଲା।

ତହୁଁ ସେ ଆପଣାର ଉତ୍ତରାଧିକାରୀ ଜେଷ୍ଠପୁତ୍ରଙ୍କୁ ନଇେ ପ୍ରାଚୀର ଉପରେ ହାମବେଳି ରୂପେ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କଲେ। ୟିଏକି ପରବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ରାଜା ହାଇେଥାନ୍ତେ, ତାଙ୍କୁ ନଇେ ପ୍ରାଚୀର ଉପରେ ହାମବେଳି ରୂପେ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କଲେ। ଏଥି ରେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ବିପର୍ୟ୍ଯସ୍ତ ବଢିଲା। ତେଣୁ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲୀୟମାନେ ମାୟୋବ ପରିତ୍ଯାଗ କରି ନିଜ ଦେଶକୁ ପ୍ରସ୍ଥାନ କଲେ।

ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟଇମାସ ଶଷେ ରେ ୟିଲ୍ଗହର କନ୍ଯା ତାଙ୍କର ପିତାଙ୍କ ନିକଟକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଫରେି ଆସିଲେ। ୟିଲ୍ଗହ ଏହିପରି କଲେ ସେ ଯେପରି ଭାବରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କଠା ରେ ଶପଥ କରିଥିଲେ। ୟିଲ୍ଗହଙ୍କର କନ୍ଯା କାହାରି ସହିତ ୟୌନ ସଂପର୍କ ରଖିଲେ ନାହିଁ। ତେଣୁ ଏହା ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ଏକ ପ୍ରଥା ରୂପେ ରହିଗଲା।

ମୁ ଅେମ୍ମାନୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ବିରକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧ ରେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧରୁ ମୁ ନିରାପଦ ରେ ଫରେି ଆସିବି। ସହେି ସମୟରେ ମାେ ଘର ଭିତରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ପ୍ରଥମେ ୟିଏ ମାେତେ ଅଭ୍ଯର୍ଥନା କରିବା ପାଇଁ ବାହାରି ଆସିବ ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ହବେ। ମୁ ତାହାଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ହାମବେଳି ରୂପେ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କରିବି।
Genesis 22:16
ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଦୂତ କହିଲେ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ଏକମାତ୍ର ପୁତ୍ର ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ଦବୋକୁ ସମ୍ମତ ହେଲ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଏପରି କଲ କାରଣ ମାେ ପାଇଁ। ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଏହି ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା କରାଇଥିଲି। ମୁଁ ସହେି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା କରିଥିଲି ଯେ,
Genesis 22:12
ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଦୂତ ଅବ୍ରହାମକୁ କହିଲେ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ପୁତ୍ରକୁ ହତ୍ଯା କର ନାହିଁ କି କିଛି ଆଘାତ କର ନାହିଁ। ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ମୁଁ ଦେଖି ପାରୁଛି ଯେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ସମ୍ମାନ କରୁଛ ଏବଂ ତାଙ୍କର ଆଜ୍ଞା ମାନି ଚଳୁଛ। କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଏକମାତ୍ର ପୁତ୍ରକୁ ମାେ ସକାେଶ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କରିବାକୁ କୁଣ୍ଠା ବୋଧ କରିନାହଁ।
Genesis 21:12
କିନ୍ତୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଅବ୍ରହାମକୁ କହିଲେ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ସହେି ଦାସୀ ଏବଂ ତାଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ର ପାଇଁ ବ୍ଯସ୍ତ ହବୋର ନାହିଁ। ସାରା ଯେପରି ଚାହୁଁଛି ସପରେି କର। ଇସ୍ହାକ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପରିବାରର ନାମ ରଖିବ।
Genesis 17:19
ପରମେଶ୍ବର କହିଲେ, ନାଁ, ମୁଁ କହିଲେ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ସାରା, ପୁତ୍ର ଜନ୍ମ କରିବ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତା'ର ନାମ ଇସ୍ହାକ ରଖିବ। ମୁଁ ତାଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଚୁକ୍ତି କରିବି। ସହେି ଚୁକ୍ତି ତୁମ୍ଭର ବଂଶଧରମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଚିରକାଳସ୍ଥାଯୀ ହବେ।
