ଯେତବେେଳେ ଅବ୍ରାମକୁ ଅନେଶ୍ବତ ବର୍ଷ ସେତବେେଳେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଦର୍ଶନ ଦେଲେ ଏବଂ କହିଲେ, ମୁଁ ସର୍ବଶକ୍ତିମାନ ପରମେଶ୍ବର। ଉତ୍ତମ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯମାନ କର। ମାେତେ ମାନ ଏବଂ ନିଷ୍ଠାପର ଜୀବନୟାପନ କର।

ଅବ୍ରାମ ମୁହଁ ତଳକୁ କରି ଭୂମିରେ ପଡ଼ିଲେ ଓ ହସିଲେ। ସେ ନିଜକୁ କହିଲେ, କଣ ଜଣେ 100 ବର୍ଷର ଲୋକ କୌଣସି ସ୍ତ୍ରୀକୁ ଗର୍ଭବତୀ କରାଇପାରିବ? କଣ ସାରା ନବେ ବର୍ଷ ରେ ପିଲା ଧାରଣ କରିପାରିବ?
Romans 4:19
ଅବ୍ରାହାମଙ୍କୁ 100 ବର୍ଷ ବୟସ ହାଇେଥିଲା, ଅତଏବ ପିଲାପିଲି ହବୋ ସମୟ ଚ଼ାଲି ଯାଇଥିଲା। ତାହାଙ୍କ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ସାରା ମଧ୍ଯ ସନ୍ତାନ ଜନ୍ମ କରି ପାରିବେ ନାହିଁ, ଅବ୍ରାହାମ ଏ କଥା ଭାବିଥିଲେ।
