ସେ ସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ଇଦୋମ, ତାହାର ରାଜାଗଣ ଓ ତାହାର ଅଧିପତିମାନେ ଅଛନ୍ତି। ସମାନେେ ୟୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ଅସୁନ୍ନତମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ପଡ଼ି ଅଛନ୍ତି, ଯଦିଓ ସମାନେେ ଜୀବନ ରେ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଶକ୍ତିପାଇଁ ପରିଚିତ ଥିଲେ।

ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହିକଥା କୁହନ୍ତି: ଆମ୍ଭେ ଇଦୋମର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ନିଶ୍ଚିତ ଦଣ୍ତ ଦବୋ କାରଣ ସମାନେେ ବହୁ ଅପରାଧ ରେ ଲିପ୍ତ ଥିଲେ। ସମାନେେ ମଧ୍ଯ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଭାଇମାନଙ୍କୁ ଖଡ୍ଗଧରି ଗୋଡାଇଲେ। ଏବଂ ଟିକିଏ ହେଲେ ଦୟା ଦଖାଇେ ନଥିଲେ। ଇଦୋମ ନିଜର କୋରଧ ଚିରଦିନ ପାଇଁ ରଖିଲେ ଏବଂ ନିଜର କୋର୍ଧ ବନ୍ଦ କଲେ ନାହିଁ। ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲୀୟମାଙ୍କୁ ସମାନେେ ବନ୍ଯପ୍ରାଣୀ ସଦୃଶ ବିଦୀର୍ଣ୍ଣ କଲେ।
