Exodus 1:12
ମିଶରୀଯମାନେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲୀୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ଅଧିକରୁ ଅଧିକ ପରିଶ୍ରମ କରାଇଲେ। ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଯେତେ ଅଧିକ ପରଶ୍ରମ କରାଇଲେ, ସମାନଙ୍କେର ସଂଖ୍ଯା ସହେିପରି ଅଧିକ ବ୍ଯାପିଲା। ଏହା ମିଶରୀଯ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ଭୟର କାରଣ ହେଲା।

| they multiplied | כֵּ֥ן | kēn | kane |
| grew. and | יִרְבֶּ֖ה | yirbe | yeer-BEH |
| וְכֵ֣ן | wĕkēn | veh-HANE | |
| And they were grieved | יִפְרֹ֑ץ | yiprōṣ | yeef-ROHTS |
| because | וַיָּקֻ֕צוּ | wayyāquṣû | va-ya-KOO-tsoo |
| of the children | מִפְּנֵ֖י | mippĕnê | mee-peh-NAY |
| of Israel. | בְּנֵ֥י | bĕnê | beh-NAY |
| יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ | yiśrāʾēl | yees-ra-ALE |
