Proverbs 4:16
ମନ୍ଦ ଲୋକମାନେ ମନ୍ଦକାର୍ୟ୍ଯ ନ କଲା ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ନିଦ ହୁଏ ନାହିଁ। ଯଦି ସମାନେେ କାହାକୁ ଆଘାତ ନ କରନ୍ତି, ସମାନେେ ଶଯନ କରିବେ ନାହିଁ।

ସହେି ପାପୀ ଲୋକମାନେ ସର୍ବଦା ପାପ କରିବାକୁ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ ଥାନ୍ତି। ସମାନେେ ସର୍ବଦା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ହତ୍ଯା କରିବାକୁ ଚାହାଁନ୍ତି।
Isaiah 57:20
ମାତ୍ର ଦୁଷ୍ଟମାନେ ତରଙ୍ଗାଯିତ ସମୁଦ୍ର ତୁଲ୍ଯ, କାରଣ ତାହା ସ୍ଥିର ହାଇପୋ ରେ ନାହିଁ ଓ ତାହାର ଜଳ ରେ ପଙ୍କ ଓ କାଦୁଅ ଉେଠ।

ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ ଥର କୌଣସି ସ୍ତ୍ରୀଲୋକକୁ ଦେଖିଲେ, ସମାନେେ ବ୍ଯଭିଚାର କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଚାହାଁନ୍ତି। ଏହିଭଳି ଭାବରେ ସମାନେେ ସବୁବେଳେ ପାପ କରୁଥାନ୍ତି। ସମାନେେ ଦୁର୍ବଳ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ପାପର ଫାନ୍ଦ ରେ ପକାଇ ଦିଅନ୍ତି। ସମାନଙ୍କେ ହୃଦୟଗୁଡ଼ିକ ସ୍ବାର୍ଥପରତା ରେ ପରିପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ। ସମାନେେ ଅଭିଶପ୍ତ।

ତା'ପରଦିନ ସକାଳେ, ପ୍ରାଚୀନ ଯିହୂଦୀ ନେତା ଗଣ, ପ୍ରଧାନ ଯାଜକ ଓ ଧର୍ମଶାସ୍ତ୍ରୀମାନେ ଏକାଠି ହେଲେ। ସମାନେେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ସର୍ବୋଚ୍ଚ ନ୍ଯାଯାଳୟକୁ ନଇଗେଲେ।

ତା'ପରେ ସମାନେେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ କଯାଫାଙ୍କ ଘରୁ ରୋମୀୟ ରାଜ୍ଯପାଳଙ୍କ ପ୍ରାସାଦକୁ ନଇଗେଲେ। ସେତବେେଳେ ପାହାନ୍ତିଆ ସମୟ। ଯିହୂଦୀମାନେ ପ୍ରାସାଦ ଭିତରକୁ ଗଲେ ନାହିଁ। ସମାନେେ ନିଜକୁ ଅପବିତ୍ର କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଚାହୁଁ ନଥିଲେ, କାରଣ ସମାନେେ ନିସ୍ତାରପର୍ବର ଭୋଜନ ଖାଇବା ପାଇଁ ଚାହୁଁଥିଲେ।
