Nehemiah 2:8
ରାଜା ଆସଫ୍ଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ମାେତେ ଗୋଟିଏ ପତ୍ର ଦେଲେ। ଆସଫ୍ ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ରାଜାଙ୍କର ଜଙ୍ଗଲର ରକ୍ଷକ ଅଟନ୍ତି। ସେ ଆସଫ୍ଙ୍କୁ ମନ୍ଦିର ଫାଟକର ମୂଖଶାଳା, ସହରର କାନ୍ଥ ଏବଂ ମନ୍ଦିର କଟାବ ପାଇଁ ମାେତେ ଖଣ୍ଡେ କାଠ ଦବୋ ଲାଗି କହିଲେ।

ଏହାପରେ ମୁଁ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ କହିଲି, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଦେଖି ପାରୁଛ ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଖରାପ ଅବସ୍ଥା ରେ ଅଛୁ। ୟିରୁଶାଲମ କିପରି ଉଜାଡ ହାଇେ ପଡିଛି ଏବଂ ଦ୍ବାରସବୁ ଅଗ୍ନି ରେ ଦଗ୍ଧ ହାଇେଅଛି। ନିନ୍ଦିତ ନ ହବୋ ଆସ, ଆସ ପୁଣି ଥରେ ୟିରୁଶାଲମର ପ୍ରାଚୀରକୁ ପୁନଃନିର୍ମାଣ କରିବା।
