ମୁଁ ଏସବୁ ସମୟରେ ୟିରୁଶାଲମ ରେ ନଥିଲି, କାରଣ ବାବିଲର ଅର୍ତ୍ତକ୍ଷସ୍ତ ରାଜାର ଅଧିକାରର ବତିଶ ବର୍ଷ ରେ ମୁଁ ରାଜାଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଗଲି ଓ କେତକେ ଦିନ ପରେ ରାଜାଙ୍କୁ ବିଦାଯ ମାଗିଲି।

Exodus 32:1
ଲୋକମାନେ ଅନୁଭବ କଲେ ଯେ, ମାଶାେ ପର୍ବତ ଉପରୁ ଓହ୍ଲାଇ ଆସିବାକୁ ଡରେି କଲେ। ତେଣୁ ସମାନେେ ହାରୋଣଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ରୁଣ୍ଡ ହେଲେ। ସମାନେେ ତାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ଦେଖ, ମାଶାେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ମିଶର ଦେଶରୁ ବାହାର କରି ଆଣିଲେ କିନ୍ତୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଜାଣିପାରିଲୁ ନାହିଁ ତାଙ୍କର କ'ଣ ହାଇେଛି। ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆଗଇେ ନବୋ ପାଇଁ କେତକେ ଦବେତାଗଣ ନିର୍ମାଣ କର।

ଅର୍ତ୍ତକ୍ଷସ୍ତ ରାଜାଙ୍କର ଅଧିକାରର ବିଂଶତମ ବର୍ଷ ରେ ନିଶାନ ମାସ ରେ ଏହିପରି ଘଟିଥିଲା। ଯେ ରାଜାଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖ ରେ ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାରସ ଥିବା ବେଳେ ମୁଁ ସହେି ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାରସ ନଇେ ରାଜାଙ୍କୁ ଦଲେି। ଏହା ପୂର୍ବରୁ ମୁଁ ତାହାଙ୍କ ସାକ୍ଷାତ ରେ ଦୁଃଖିତ ହାଇେ ନ ଥିଲି।

ଏହାପରେ ମୁଁ ରାଜାଙ୍କୁ ଉତ୍ତର ଦଲେି, ଯଦି ମହାରାଜାଙ୍କର ସନ୍ତାଷେ ହୁଏ ଓ ଆପଣଙ୍କ ଦାସ ଯବେେ ଆପଣଙ୍କ ଦୃଷ୍ଟି ରେ ଅନୁଗ୍ରହ ପାଇଥାଏ, ତବେେ ଯିହୁଦା ଦେଶକୁ ମାରେପିତୃ ଲୋକଙ୍କ କବର ନଗରକୁ ମାେତେ ପଠାଇବାକୁ ଆଜ୍ଞା କରନ୍ତୁ। ମୁଁ ସଠାେକୁ ୟିବାକୁ ଗ୍ଭ ହେଁ। ଏବଂ ସଠାେରେ ମୁଁ ନଗର ପୁନର୍ବାର ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠା କରିବାକୁ ଗ୍ଭ ହେଁ।

କିନ୍ତୁ ସବୁ ଲୋକ ଶାଇେଥିବା ସମୟରେ ସହେି ଲୋକର ଶତୃ ଆସିଲା। ସେ ଗହମ ମଝି ରେ ବାଳୁଙ୍ଗାବୀଜ ବୁଣି ଦଲୋ। ତା'ପରେ ସେ ଚାଲିଗଲା।
