Leviticus 4:24
ସହେି ଶାସକ ଛାଗ ମସ୍ତକରେ ହାତ ରଖି ହାମବେଳି ବଧ କରିବା ସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖ ରେ ତାକୁ ବଧ କରିବ, ତାହା ହବେ ପାପାର୍ଥକ ନବୈେଦ୍ଯ।

Leviticus 7:2
ଯେଉଁ ସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ଯାଜକ ହାମବେଳି ବଧ କରନ୍ତି, ସହେି ସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ସମାନେେ ଦୋଷାର୍ଥକ ବଳି ବଧ କରିବେ। ତା'ପରେ ଯାଜକ ସହେି ବଳିର ରକ୍ତ ନଇେ ୟଜ୍ଞବଦେୀ ଚାରିପାଖ ରେ ଛିଞ୍ଚିବ।
Leviticus 6:25
ହାରୋଣ ଓ ତାଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ରଗଣଙ୍କୁ କୁହ, ପାପରୁ ମୁକ୍ତି ପାଇବା ପାଇଁ ଏହା ହେଉଛି ପଶୁବଳି ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କରିବାର ବ୍ଯବସ୍ଥା। ଯେଉଁ ସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ହାମବେଳି ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କରାୟାଏ, ସହେି ସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖ ରେ ପାପମାଚେନ ପାଇଁ ପଶୁ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କରାୟିବ। ଏହା ମହାପବିତ୍ର ଅଟେ।

ଯଦି ଅଭିଷିକ୍ତ ଯାଜକ ପାପ କରେ ଏବଂ ଦେଶ ପାଇଁ ଦୋଷ ଆଣେ, ସେ ଗୋଟିଏ ନିଖୁଣ ବାଛୁରୀ ବଳିଦାନ କରିବ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖ ରେ ତାହା ପାପାର୍ଥକ ବଳିରୂପେ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କରିବା ଉଚିତ୍।

ମାତ୍ର ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସମସ୍ତେ ମଷେପଲ ସଦୃଶ ବିପଥରେ ବୁଲିଲୁ। ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ ନିଜ ନିଜ ପଥରେ ୟାଇଅଛୁ। ଆମ୍ଭ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆମ୍ଭ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କର ପାପର ବୋଝ ମୁଣ୍ଡ ରେ ନଇେ ୟାଇଛନ୍ତି।
