Jeremiah 45:1
ଯୋଶିୟଯର ପୁତ୍ର ଯିହୁଦାର ରାଜା ଯିହାୟୋକୀମର ରାଜତ୍ବର ଚତୁର୍ଥ ବର୍ଷ ରେ ନରେିଯର ପୁତ୍ର ବାରୂକ, ଯିରିମିୟଙ୍କ ମୁଖରୁ ଏହି ସମସ୍ତ କଥା ଶୁଣି ନଳାକାର ପୁସ୍ତକରେ ଲେଖିଲା ବେଳେ ଯିରିମିୟ ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦବକ୍ତା ତାକୁ ଏହି କଥା କହିଲେ।

ଅନନ୍ତର ଯୋଶିୟର ପୁତ୍ର ଯିହୁଦାର ରାଜା ଯିହାୟୋଦାରମୀମର ରାଜତ୍ବର ଚତୁର୍ଥ ବର୍ଷ ରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଯିରିମିୟଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ଏହି ବାକ୍ଯ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେଲା। ଯଥା :
Jeremiah 36:4
ତେଣୁ ଯିରିମିୟ ନରେିଯର ପୁତ୍ର ବାରୂକକୁ ଡାକିଲେ। ଆଉ ଯିରିମିୟ ବାରୂକକୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଯେଉଁସବୁ ବାକ୍ଯ କହିଲେ, ବାରୂକ ସେସବୁ ଏକ ନଳାକାର ପୁସ୍ତକରେ ଲେଖିଲେ।

ପୁଣି ମାେ ପିତୃବ୍ଯର ପୁତ୍ର ହନନଲରେ ସାକ୍ଷାତ ରେ, କ୍ରଯପତ୍ରର ସ୍ବାକ୍ଷରକାରୀ ସାକ୍ଷୀମାନଙ୍କ ସାକ୍ଷାତ ରେ ମୁଁ ସହେି କ୍ରଯପତ୍ର ମହ ସଯରେ ପୌତ୍ର ନରେିଯର ପୁତ୍ର ବାରୂକର ହସ୍ତ ରେ ସମର୍ପଣ କଲି।
Jeremiah 36:32
ତା'ପ ରେ ଯିରିମିୟ ଆଉ ଖଣ୍ଡେ ନଳାକାର ପୁସ୍ତକ ନଇେ ନରେିଯର ପୁତ୍ର ବାରୂକକୁ ଦେଲେ। ଯିହାୟୋଦାରକୀମ୍ ଯେଉଁ ନଳାକାର ପୁସ୍ତକ ଅଗ୍ନି ରେ ଦଗ୍ଧ କରିଥିଲେ, ସହେି ନଳାକାର ପୁସ୍ତକ ଲିଖିତ ସମସ୍ତ ବାକ୍ଯ ଯିରିମିୟଙ୍କ ମୁଖରୁ ଶୁଣି ପୁଣି ସହେି ନଳାକାର ପୁସ୍ତକରେ ଲେଖିଲା। ଆଉ ମଧ୍ଯ ଅନକେ ସହେି ପ୍ରକାର କଥା ଏହି ଦ୍ବିତୀୟ ନଳାକାର ପୁସ୍ତକରେ ୟୋଗ କରାଇଲେ।
Jeremiah 32:16
ନରେିଯର ପୁତ୍ର ବାରୂକକୁ ସହେି କ୍ରଯପତ୍ର ସମର୍ପି ଦଲୋ ପ ରେ ମୁଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ଏହି ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କଲି।

ବାବିଲର ରାଜା ନବୂଖଦନିତ୍ସରର ଅଧିକାରର ପ୍ରଥମ ବର୍ଷ ରେ ଓ ଯୋଶିୟଯର ପୁତ୍ର, ଯିହୁଦାର ରାଜା ୟିହୋଯାକୀମର ଅଧିକାରର ଚତୁର୍ଥ ବର୍ଷ ରେ, ଯିହୁଦାର ସମଗ୍ର ଲୋକ ବିଷଯ ରେ ଯିରିମିୟଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ଏହି ବାକ୍ଯ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେଲା।
Jeremiah 43:3
କିନ୍ତୁ ନରେିଯର ପୁତ୍ର ବାରୂକ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ପ୍ରବର୍ତ୍ତାଇ ଅଛି। କଲଦୀଯମାନେ ଯେପରି ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ବଧ କରିପାରିବେ ଓ ବନ୍ଦୀ କରି ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ବାବିଲକୁ ନଇେଯିବେ।
Jeremiah 36:26
ପୁଣି ରାଜା ବାରୂକ ଲେଖକକୁ ଓ ଯିରିମିୟ ଭବିଷ୍ଯତବକ୍ତାକୁ ଗିରଫ କରିବାକୁ ରାଜପୁତ୍ର ୟିରହମଲକେୁ, ଅସ୍ରୀଯଲରେ ପୁତ୍ର ସରାଯକୁ ଓ ଅବଦିଯଲରେ ପୁତ୍ର ଶଲେିମିଯକୁ ଆଜ୍ଞା କଲେ। ମାତ୍ର ସମାନେେ ବାରୂକ ଓ ଯିରିମିୟକୁ ପାଇଲେ ନାହିଁ କାରଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଲୁଚାଇ ରଖିଥିଲେ।
Jeremiah 36:14
ତାହାପ ରେ ଅଧିପତିଗଣ କୁଶିର ପ୍ରପୌତ୍ର, ଶଲେିମିଯର ପୌତ୍ର, ନଥନିଯର ପୁତ୍ର ୟିହୁଦିକୁ ପଠାଇଲେ। ଏବଂ ତାକୁ କହିଲେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ କର୍ଣ୍ଣଗୋଚର ରେ ଯେଉଁ ନଳାକାର ପୁସ୍ତକ ପାଠ କରିଅଛ, ତାହା ନଇେ ଏଠାକୁ ଆସ।

ତେଣୁ ନରେିଯର ପୁତ୍ର ବାରୂକ ଯିରିମିୟ ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦବକ୍ତାଙ୍କର କହିବାନୁସା ରେ ସମସ୍ତ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରି ସହେି ପୁସ୍ତକରେ ଲିଖିତ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ବାକ୍ଯ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ମନ୍ଦିର ରେ ପାଠ କଲେ।
Jeremiah 26:1
ଯୋଶିୟଯର ପୁତ୍ର ଯିହୁଦାର ରାଜା ଯିହାୟୋକୀମର ରାଜତ୍ବର ପ୍ରାରମ୍ଭ ରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଏହି ବାକ୍ଯ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେଲା।

ଯିହାୟୋକୀମ୍ ଯିହୁଦାର ନୂତନ ରାଜା ହବୋ ସମୟରେ ପଚିଶ ବର୍ଷ ବଯସ୍କ ହାଇେଥିଲେ। ସେ ଏଗାର ବର୍ଷ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ୟିରୁଶାଲମର ରାଜା ଥିଲେ। ଯିହାୟୋଦାରକୀମ୍ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଇଚ୍ଛାନୁୟାଯୀ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କଲେ ନାହିଁ।
