ଆମାନଙ୍କେ ପୁତ୍ର, ଯିହୁଦା ଦେଶର ରାଜା ଯୋଶିୟର ରାଜତ୍ବର ତ୍ରଯୋଦଶ ବର୍ଷ ରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ବାକ୍ଯ ଯିରିମିୟଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେଲା।

ହେ ଯିରିମିୟ, ଗୋଟିଏ ନଳାକାର ପୁସ୍ତକ ନିଅ। ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯୋଶିୟ ରାଜାଙ୍କ ରାଜତ୍ବ କାଳରୁ ଆଜି ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ, ଯିହୁଦା ଓ ସମସ୍ତ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀର ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ଯାହା ଯାହା କରିଅଛୁ, ସେ ସମସ୍ତ ସହେି ପୁସ୍ତକରେ ଲେଖ।

ଆମାନରେ ପୁତ୍ର ଯିହୁଦାର ରାଜା ଯୋଶିୟଯର ଅଧିକାରର ତ୍ରଯୋଦଶ ବର୍ଷଠାରୁ ଆଜି ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ଏହି ତଇେଶ ବର୍ଷକାଳ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ବାକ୍ଯ ମାେ ନିକଟରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହାଇେଅଛି। ଆଉ ମୁଁ ପ୍ରତ୍ଯୁଷରୁ ଉଠି ତାହା ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଅଛି ମାତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ତାହା ଶୁଣି ନାହିଁ।

ଏହାପ ରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଏହି ବାକ୍ଯ ମାେ ନିକଟରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେଲା। ଯଥା, ହେ ଯିରିମିୟ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ କଅଣ ଦେଖୁଅଛ ?

ଯୋଶିୟ ରାଜା ହବୋ ସମୟରେ ଆଠ ବର୍ଷ ବଯସ୍କ ହାଇେଥିଲେ। ସେ ୟିରୁଶାଲମ ରେ ଏକତିରିଶ ବର୍ଷ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ରାଜା ହାଇେଥିଲେ।

ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ବାଣୀ ମୀଖାଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଆସିଥିଲା। ଯୋଥମ, ଆହସ ଓ ହିଜକିଯ ରାଜାମାନଙ୍କ ସମୟରେ ଏହି ବାଣୀ ଆସିଥିଲା। ଏମାନେ ସବୁ ଯିହୁଦାର ରାଜା ଥିଲେ ଓ ମୀଖା ଥିଲେ ମାେ ରେଷ୍ଟୀଯ। ସେ ଶମରିଯା ଓ ୟିରୁଶାଲମ ବିଷଯ ରେ ଏହି ଦର୍ଶନ ଲାଭ କଲେ।
