ରାଜା ହିଜକିଯଙ୍କ ଚତୁର୍ଦ୍ଦଶ ବର୍ଷ ରାଜତ୍ବ କାଳ ରେ ଅଶୂରର ରାଜା ସନ୍ ହରେୀବ ସୁଦୃଢ଼ ପ୍ରାଚୀର ବେଷ୍ଟିତ ଯିହୁଦାର ନଗର ସବୁକୁ ଆକ୍ରମଣ କରି ତାକୁ ଅଧିକାର କଲେ।

ଅନନ୍ତର ଅଶୂରର ରାଜା ତାଙ୍କ ତିନିଜଣ ମୁଖ୍ଯ ସନୋଧକ୍ଷ୍ଯ ତର୍ତ୍ତନ, ରବସାରୀସ୍, ଓ ରବ୍ଶାକିଙ୍କୁ ମହାସୈନ୍ଯ ସହିତ ୟିରୁଶାଲମ ରେ ହିଜକିଯ ରାଜା ନିକଟକୁ ପଠାଇଲେ। ତହୁଁ ସମାନେେ ଲଖୀସରୁ ୟାତ୍ରା କରି ୟିରୁଶାଲମକୁ ଆସିଲେ। ସମାନେେ ସଠାେରେ ପହଞ୍ଚି ରଜକର କ୍ଷେତ୍ର ପଥସ୍ଥିତ ଉପର ପୁଷ୍କରିଣୀର ନାଳ ନିକଟରେ ଠିଆ ହେଲେ।

ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଦେଶ ଧ୍ବଂସ ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ନଗରଗୁଡ଼ିକ ଅଗ୍ନି ରେ ଭସ୍ମିଭୂତ ହାଇେଅଛି। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଦେଶ ଶତ୍ରୁମାନଙ୍କ ଦ୍ବାରା ଅଧିକୃତ। ସୈନ୍ଯବାହିନୀ ଦ୍ବାରା ଦେଶ ଧ୍ବଂସ ହେଲା ପରି ତୁମ୍ଭର ଦେଶ ଧ୍ବଂସ ହାଇୟୋଇଛି।
Isaiah 7:17
ମାତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଲଭମାଲନ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ଭୟ କରିବ। କାରଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଏକ ଦୁଃଖ ସମୟ ଆଣିଲବ।ସସହି ଦୁଃସମୟ ତୁମ୍ଭସଲାକମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଆସିବ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପିତୃବଂଶ ପାଇଁ ଆସିବ। ପରଲମଶ୍ବର କ'ଣ କରିଲବ ?ସସ ଅଶୂରର ରାଜାଙ୍କୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧସର ଲଢ଼ିବାକୁ ଆଣିଲବ।
Isaiah 8:7
ମାତ୍ର ମୁଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଅଶୂର ରାଜା ଓ ତାହାର ସମସ୍ତ ଶକ୍ତିକୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ଆଣିବି। ସମାନେେ ଫରାତ୍ ନଦୀର ଶକ୍ତିଶାଳୀ ବନ୍ଯାର ସୋର୍ତ ପରି ପ୍ରବଳ ପରାକ୍ରମୀ ହାଇେ ଆସିବେ। ବନ୍ଯାଜଳ କୂଳ ଲଙ୍ଘନ କଲାପରି ସମାନେେ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କ ଉପ ରେ ପ୍ରଭାବ ବିସ୍ତାର କରିବେ।
Isaiah 10:28
ସୈନ୍ଯବାହିନୀ ଅଯାତ ରେ' ପ୍ରବେଶ କରିବେ। ସମାନେେ ମିଶ୍ରୋଣ ଖଳା' ମଧ୍ଯ ଦଇେ ଯିବେ ଓ ମିକ୍ମସ ରେ' ଗନ୍ତାଘ ରେ ଖାଦ୍ୟ ସାମଗ୍ରୀ ଗଚ୍ଛିତ ରଖିବେ।
Isaiah 33:7
ମାତ୍ର ଶୁଣ, ସମାନଙ୍କେର ପରାକ୍ରମଶାଳୀ ମାନେ ବାହା ରେ କ୍ରନ୍ଦନ କରୁଛନ୍ତି। ଶାନ୍ତିକାମୀ ଦୂତମାନେ ଅତିଶଯ ରୋଦନ କରୁଛନ୍ତି।
