ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହା କୁହନ୍ତି, ହେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ସନ୍ତାନମାନେ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଆମ୍ଭ ନିକଟରେ କୂଶୀଯ ସନ୍ତାନମାନଙ୍କ ତୁଲ୍ଯ। ଆମ୍ଭେ ମିଶରରୁ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲକୁ, କପ୍ତୋରରୁ ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟକୁ ଓ ବୀରଦେଶରୁ ଅରାମୀଯମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆଣିଅଛୁ।

Jeremiah 47:4

ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ମିଶରରୁ ଆଣିଲୁ ଏବଂ ଗ୍ଭଳିଶବର୍ଷ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ମରୁଭୂମିରେ ଆଗଇେ ନଲେୁ। ଆମ୍ଭେ ମଧ୍ଯ ଇ ମାରେୀଯମାନଙ୍କର ଭୂମିକୁ ଅଧିକାର କରିବାକୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ କଲୁ।

ଜଣେ କୃଷ୍ଣକାଯ କ'ଣ ଆପଣା ଚର୍ମର ବର୍ଣ୍ଣ ବଦଳାଇ ପାରିବ ଓ ଚିତାବାଘ କ'ଣ ନିଜର ଦହରେ ଛାପ ବଦଳାଇ ପାରିବ ? ତେଣୁ ହେ ୟିରୁଶାଲମ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସର୍ବଦା କୁକର୍ମ କରିବା ରେ ଅଭ୍ଯସ୍ତ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ କବେେ ସୁକର୍ମ କରିପାରିବ ନାହିଁ।

ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି ଦେଖ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯେଉଁ ସମୟରେ ସୁନ୍ନତ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଅସୁନ୍ନତ ଅନୁସାରେ ଦଣ୍ଡ ଦବୋ, ଏପରି ସମୟ ଆସୁଅଛି।

ଅଶୂର ରାଜା ମିଶର ଓ କୂଶରୁ ପରାସ୍ତ କରିବ। ମିଶରୀଯମାନେ ଲଜ୍ଜିତ ହବେ। କାରଣ ମିଶରୀଯ ଆବାଳବୃଦ୍ଧ ବନ୍ଦୀଙ୍କୁ ଓ କୂଶୀଯ ନିର୍ବାସିତ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ବିବସ୍ତ୍ର ଓ ଶୂନ୍ଯପାଦ କରି ସମାନେେ ତାଙ୍କ ଦେଶରୁ ନଇେଯିବେ।
