ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଅସ୍ଦୋଦର ଓ ମିଶର ରାଜପ୍ରାସାଦ ରେ ଏହି ବାର୍ତ୍ତା ଘାଷେଣା କର, ଶମରିଯାର ପର୍ବତମାଳା ଶିଖରକୁ ଆସ ଏବଂ ସଠାେକାର କୋଳାହଳ ଓ ଦଙ୍ଗାକୁ ଦେଖ। ସମାନେେ ଅନ୍ୟ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ବହୁତ ନିଷ୍ଠୁର ଅଟନ୍ତି।

ହେ ସିଯୋନର ଲୋକମାନେ, ଯେଉଁମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଦୁଃଖ ନାହିଁ ବୋଲି କହୁଛ ଏବଂ ଶମରିଯା ପର୍ବତ ଉପ ରେ ଥିବା ନିବାସୀ ଯେଉଁମାନେ ନିଜକୁ ନିରାପଦ ମନେ କରୁଛ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଏହା ଅତି ମନ୍ଦ ହବେ। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ମହାନ୍ ଦେଶର ପ୍ରଧାନ ଗଣ। ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ଗୃହ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଉପଦେଶ ପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପାଖକୁ ଆସୁଛି।
Amos 1:8
ଆଉ ମଧ୍ଯ ଅସ୍ଦୋଦର ସିଂହାସନ ରେ ବସିଥିବା ଲୋକଟିକୁ ଧ୍ବଂସ କରିବା। ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆସ୍କିଲୋନର ରାଜଦଣ୍ତଧାରୀକୁ ମଧ୍ଯ ବିନାଶ କରିବା। ଇକ୍ରୋଣ୍ର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ମଧ୍ଯ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଦଣ୍ତ ଦବୋ। ତା'ପ ରେ ଯେଉଁ ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟମାନେ ବଞ୍ଚିଥିବେ, ସମାନେେ ମଧ୍ଯ ମୃତ୍ଯୁବରଣ କରିବେ। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଏହିସବୁ କହିଥିଲେ।
Amos 8:6
ଆଉ ଦରିଦ୍ର ଲୋକମାନେ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଋଣ ପରିଶାଧେ କରିପାରିବେ ନାହିଁ, ତେଣୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ କ୍ରୀତଦାସ ରୂପେ କିଣିବୁ। ସହେି ଅସହାୟ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଏକହଳ ପାଦୁକା ବଦଳ ରେ କିଣି ପାରିବୁ। ହାୟ! ପରିତ୍ଯକ୍ତ ଗହମ ପରି ସହେି ଦରିଦ୍ର ବ୍ଯକ୍ତିମାନଙ୍କୁ ବୀକ୍ରି କରିବୁ।

ତୁମ୍ଭେ କୃଷକମାନେ ପୁନର୍ବାର ଶମରିଯାର ପର୍ବତ ରେ ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାକ୍ଷେତ୍ର ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କରିବ। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ରୋପଣ କରି ତାହାର ଫଳ ଭୋଗ କରିବ।

ଆଉ ସହେି ଦେଶ ରେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ପର୍ବତଗୁଡ଼ିକ ଉପ ରେ ମୁଁ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଏକ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀ କରିବି ଓ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଜଣେ ରାଜା ହବେେ। ପୁଣି ସମାନେେ ଆଉ ଦୁଇ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀ ରହିବେ ନାହିଁ। କିମ୍ବା ଆଉ କବେେ ଦୁଇ ରାଜ୍ଯ ରେ ବିଭକ୍ତ ହବେେ ନାହିଁ।

କିନ୍ତୁ ହେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ପର୍ବତଗଣ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ନିଶ୍ଚଯ ନିଜର ବୃକ୍ଷ ଉତ୍ପନ୍ନ କରିବ ଓ ମାରେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଫଳ ଉତ୍ପନ୍ନ କରିବ। କାରଣ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଆଗମନ ସମୟ ସନ୍ନିକଟ।

ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ମିଶର ରେ ପ୍ରଚାର କର, ମିଖଦୋଲ ରେ ଘାଷେଣା କର, ଆଉ ନୋଫ ଓ ତଫନ ହଷେ ରେ କୁହ, 'ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ୟୁଦ୍ଧ ପାଇଁ ଠିଆ ହୁଅ ଓ ଆପଣାକୁ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କର। କାରଣ ଖଡ୍ଗ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଚାରିଆଡ଼େ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ବିନାଶ କରିଚାଲିଛି।'

କାରଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଯାକୁବ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଆନନ୍ଦ ରେ ଗାନ କର। ଅଗ୍ରଗଣ୍ଯ ଦେଶ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଜଯଧ୍ବନି କର, ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କର ଓ ପ୍ରଶଂସା କର, ' ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟାଂଶ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ପରିତ୍ରାଣ କର।
