Acts 20:18
ସେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଆସି ପହଞ୍ଚିବା ପରେ କହିଲେ, ମୁଁ ଏସିଆ ରେ ପହଞ୍ଚିବାର ପ୍ରଥମ ଦିନଠାରୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପାଖ ରେ ଅଛି। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ରହିଲା ବେଳେ ମୁଁ କିଭଳି ଜୀବନଯାପନ କରିଛି, ତାହା ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଜାଣ।

ପୁଣି ଆମ୍ଭେ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହୃଦୟର ସହ କହିପାରୁ ଯେ, ଏହି ଜଗତ ରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯାହା କିଛି କରୁଛୁ, ତାହା ସବୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କଠାରୁ ପାଇଥିବା ଶୁଦ୍ଧ ଓ ଅକପଟ ହୃଦୟ ରେ କହୁଛୁ। ଏଥିପାଇଁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଗର୍ବିତ। ଏହା ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ କରା ଯାଇଥିବା କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରୁ ଏହା ଅଧିକ ସତ୍ଯ। କାରଣ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଏହା ଜାଗତିକ ଜ୍ଞାନ ରେ ନୁହେଁ ମାତ୍ର ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ କୃପାରୁ କରୁଛୁ।

ଆମ୍ଭ କାମ ରେ ଲୋକେ ନିନ୍ଦା କରନ୍ତୁ, ଏହା ଆମ୍ଭେ ଇଚ୍ଚା କରୁ ନାହୁଁ। ସେଥିପାଇଁ ଆମ୍ଭେ କୌଣସି ଏପରି କାମ କରିବା ନାହିଁ ଯାହା ଅନ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ସମସ୍ଯା ସୃଷ୍ଟି କରିବ।

ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ସୁସମାଚାର କହିଛୁ। କିନ୍ତୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ କବଳେ ଶବ୍ଦ ବ୍ଯବହାର କରି ନାହୁଁ। ସହେି ସୁସମାଚାର ଆମ୍ଭେ ଶକ୍ତି ଓ ପବିତ୍ର ଆତ୍ମା ସହିତ ଆଣିଛୁ। ଆମ୍ଭେ ନିଶ୍ଚିତ ଭାବରେ ଜାଣିଛୁ ଯେ, ତାହା ସତ୍ଯ। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଜାଣିଛ ଯେ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଥିଲା ବେଳେ କିଭଳି ଜୀବନ ବିତାଉଥିଲୁ, ସଭେଳି ଜୀବନଯାପନ କରି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଚାହୁଁଥିଲୁ।

ଭାଇ ଓ ଭଉଣୀମାନେ! ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଜାଣିଛ ଯେ, ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପାଖକୁ ୟିବା ବୃଥା ନ ଥିଲା।

ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଜାଣିଛ ଯେ, ଆମ୍ଭ ପରି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ରହିବା ଉଚିତ। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଥିଲା ବେଳେ ଆମ୍ଭେ କବେେ ହେଲେ କାମ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ମନା କରି ନ ଥିଲୁ।

କିନ୍ତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସମସ୍ତେ ମାେତେ ଜାଣିଛ। ଏହା ମଧ୍ଯ ଜାଣିଛ ଯେ ମୁଁ କ'ଣ ଶିକ୍ଷା (ଉପଦେଶ) ଦିଏ ଓ କିପରି ରୁ ହେ। ମାେ ଜୀବନର ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ଯ ବିଷୟ ରେ ମଧ୍ଯ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଜାଣିଛ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାରେ ବିଶ୍ବାସ, ର୍ଧୈୟ୍ଯ, ପ୍ ରମେ ବିଷୟ ରେ ଜାଣିଛ ଓ ଏହା ମଧ୍ଯ ଜାଣିଛ ଯେ ମୁଁ କବେେ ହେଲେ ଚେଷ୍ଟା କରିବାରୁ ବିରତ ହୁଏ ନାହିଁ।
