ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟମାନେ ଶାଉଲଙ୍କର କବଚ ସାଞ୍ଜକ୍ସ୍ଟଆ ଇତ୍ଯାଦିକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଆଷ୍ଟାରୋତ୍ ଦବେୀଙ୍କ ମନ୍ଦିର ରେ ରଖିଲେ। ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟମାନେ ମଧ୍ଯ ଶାଉଲଙ୍କ ଶରୀରକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ବୈଥ୍ଶାନ୍ କାନ୍ଥ ରେ ଟାଙ୍ଗି ରଖିଲେ।

କିଣାନୀଯ ବୈଥିସାନର ସହରଗକ୍ସ୍ଟଡିକରେ, ତାନକ, ଦୋରା, ୟିବ୍ଲଯିମ, ମମିଦ୍ଦୋ ଏବଂ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ଚତକ୍ସ୍ଟଃପାଶର୍ବ ରେ ଅଧିକ େଛାଟ ସହରମାନଙ୍କ ରେ ବସବାସ କରୁଥିଲେ। ମନଃଶି ପରିବାରବର୍ଗର ଲୋକମାନେ ସହେି ସହରରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ସହେି ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ତଡିବାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ସକ୍ଷମ ହେଲେ ନାହିଁ। ତେଣୁ ସଠାେରେ କିଣାନୀଯମାନେ ବାସ କଲେ।

ତା'ପରେ ଶାମକ୍ସ୍ଟଯଲେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲୀୟମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ପ୍ରକୃତ ରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଯଦି ହୃଦଯର ସହିତ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ପାଖକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ପ୍ରତ୍ଯାବର୍ତ୍ତନ କରିଛ, ତବେେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ବିଦେଶୀ ପ୍ରତିମାଗୁଡିକୁ ଓ ଅଷ୍ଟାରୋତ ପ୍ରତିମା ଫିଙ୍ଗିଦିଅ। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ସମର୍ପଣ କର ଓ କବଳେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ହିଁ ସବୋ କର। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟମାନଙ୍କଠାରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ରକ୍ଷା କରିବେ।

ସେତବେେଳେ ଦାଉଦ ୟାଇ ୟାବେଶ୍-ଗିଲିଯଦ ନିବାସୀମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଶାଉଲଙ୍କର ଅସ୍ଥି ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ପକ୍ସ୍ଟତ୍ର ଯୋନାଥନର ଅସ୍ଥି ନେଲେ। କାରଣ ଗିଲ୍ବୋଯ ରେ ପଲେଷ୍ଟଯୀମାନେ ଶାଉଲଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ବଧ କରିବା ଦିନ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ଶବ ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ଦ୍ବାରା ବୈଥ୍ଶାନ ଛକରେ ଟଙ୍ଗାଗଲା ଉତ୍ତା ରେ ୟାବେଶ୍- ଗିଲିଯଦୀଯମାନେ ସହେି ସ୍ଥାନରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ତାହା ଗ୍ଭରେି କରି ନଇେଥିଲେ।
