ସହେି ମିଶରୀଯ ଜଣକ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ନିକଟକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ନଇଗେଲେ। ଯେଉଁଠା ରେ ସମାନେେ ଗୋଟିଏ ଜାଗା ରେ ଏକତ୍ରୀତ ଭାବରେ ବସି ଖିଆପିଆ କରୁଥିଲେ। ସମାନେେ ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟମାନଙ୍କର ଓ ୟିହକ୍ସ୍ଟଦାରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଲକ୍ସ୍ଟସ୍ଖନ କରିଥିବା ବହକ୍ସ୍ଟତ ସାମଗ୍ରିମାନ ଉପ ଭୋଗ କଲେ ଓ ସଠାେରେ ଉତ୍ସବ କରୁଥିଲେ।

ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ କରେଥୀଯମାନେ ବାସ କରୁଥିବା ନଗେଭେ ଆକ୍ରମଣ କଲକ୍ସ୍ଟ। ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସିକ୍ଲଗକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଅଗ୍ନି ରେ ଦଗ୍ଧ କଲକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଓ ୟିହକ୍ସ୍ଟଦାର କାଲେବ୍ମାନଙ୍କର ବସତି ଉପରେ ଆକ୍ରମଣ କଲକ୍ସ୍ଟ।

Judges 16:23
ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟମାନେ ଏକତ୍ରୀତ ହାଇେ ଜଯଲାଭ ଉତ୍ସବ ପାଳନ କଲେ। ସମାନେେ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଦବେତା ଦାଗୋନ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ଯ ରେ ବଳିଦାନ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କଲେ। ସମାନେେ କହିଲେ, ଶାମ୍ଶାେନ୍ଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ପରାସ୍ତ କରିବା ପାଇଁ, ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଦବେତା ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ କଲେ। ଯେ କି ଆମର ଶତୃ ଥିଲା।

ୟିହୋଶୂଯ ସହେି ଭୋଜିର ପାଟି ଶୁଣିଲେ। ଯିହାଶୂେୟ ମାଶାଙ୍କେୁ କହିଲେ, ଛାଉଣୀ ରେ ୟୁଦ୍ଧର ଶବ୍ଦପରି ଏହା ଶୁଭୁଛି।
