ମୁ ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା କରୁଅଛି ଯେ, ଏଲିର ପରିବାର ପାପ ବଳିଦାନ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ ଦ୍ବାରା ଶସ୍ଯ ନବୈେଦ୍ଯ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ ଦ୍ବାରା କବେେ ପ୍ରାଯଶ୍ଚିତ ହବେ ନାହିଁ।

Jeremiah 7:16

ଏଣୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ସନ୍ତନଗଣଙ୍କୁ ଅଶୁଚି ବିଷଯ ରେ ସତର୍କ କରିଦବେ। ଯଦି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ବିଧି ବିଷଯ ରେ ନଜଣାଇବ, ତବେେ ସମାନେେ ଆମ୍ଭର ପବିତ୍ର ତମ୍ବୁକୁ ଅଶୁଚି କରି ଦବେେ। ଏଥିପାଇଁ ସମାନେେ ମୃତ୍ଯୁବରଣ କରିବେ।
Ezekiel 24:13
ତୁମ୍ଭର ପାପ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଅଶୌଚ କରେ। ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଶୁଚି କଲେ ହେଁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଶୁଚି ହେଲ ନାହିଁ। ତେଣୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପୁନର୍ବାର ଶୁଚି ନ ହେଲେ, ମୁଁ ମାରେ କୋରଧ ତୁମ୍ଭ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ପଠାଇବି।
