ଶାମୁୟେଲଙ୍କର ଦହାନ୍େତ ହେଲା। ସମସ୍ତ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲୀୟବାସୀ ଏକତ୍ର ହାଇେ ଶାମୁୟେଲଙ୍କ ମୃତକ୍ସ୍ଟ୍ଯ ରେ ଶାେକ ପାଳନ କଲେ ଓ ରାମାସ୍ଥିତ ତାଙ୍କ ଗୃହ ରେ ତାଙ୍କୁ କବର ଦେଲେ। ତା'ପରେ ଦାଉଦ ପାରଣ ପ୍ରାନ୍ତରକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଗଲେ।
