ଶାଉଲ ଜାଣିବାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ପାଇଲେ ଯେ, ତାଙ୍କର ଲୋକମାନେ ଦାଉଦ ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ସାଥୀ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ବିଷଯ ରେ ଜାଣିବାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ପାଇଲେ ଯେ ସମାନେେ କେଉଁଠା ରେ ଅଛନ୍ତି। ଏହି ସମୟରେ ଶାଉଲ ନିଜ ହସ୍ତ ରେ ବର୍ଚ୍ଛା ଧରି ଗିବିଯାସ୍ଥିତ ରାମାର ଏକ ଗଛ ମୂଳ ରେ ବସି ରହିଲେ। ଏବଂ ତାଙ୍କର ଦାସମାନେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଘରେି ରହିଥିଲେ।

ଶାଉଲ ଜାଣିବାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ପାଇଲେ ଯେ, ତାଙ୍କର ଲୋକମାନେ ଦାଉଦ ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ସାଥୀ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ବିଷଯ ରେ ଜାଣିବାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ପାଇଲେ ଯେ ସମାନେେ କେଉଁଠା ରେ ଅଛନ୍ତି। ଏହି ସମୟରେ ଶାଉଲ ନିଜ ହସ୍ତ ରେ ବର୍ଚ୍ଛା ଧରି ଗିବିଯାସ୍ଥିତ ରାମାର ଏକ ଗଛ ମୂଳ ରେ ବସି ରହିଲେ। ଏବଂ ତାଙ୍କର ଦାସମାନେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଘରେି ରହିଥିଲେ।
